  • These use an adhesive backing to stick on top of your original gauge faces. You should be able to peel it off at any time (you will have to clean any left behind adhesive residue off afterwards). We've had these on and off of a bunch of cars for development and testing without any issues.

    Stack Racing Gauge Insert

Very nice mod. Price/value can't be beat. Looks exactly as depicted in ad images. The numbers are sized like the factory gauges, they're easy to read and there is no manufacterer logo which makes it look OEM. I recommend this easy mod to anyone with an hour or so to spare.

    stack racing white face gauges

Very easy to install, and look very nice with the car off, but when ignition is on, they aren't as easy to see or as crisp looking as the stock gauges.

    Not impressed.

Glue on back made the gauge lights look hazy. Since I installed it, AM would not take it back. $50 down the drain. Bought the Foose insert...much better. I would still recommend this one, but check the glue before installing!

Not quite what I thought it would be

I purchased this product because my black speedometer was difficult to read during the day with it being receded so far back into the dash. So I thought the white gauge faces would make it more visible for me during the day, which it does. However, there is a fog when it comes to the warning lights and the turn signals. It does not look sharp like the original gauges did. I almost wish I could return the product and restore my dash to its original form. But whats done is done and I will live with it.

    Dramatic upgrade

By far this is my favorite upgrade, why you may ask? because It just looks so right! It is crisp, clean and dramatic looking, This would have been a very popular option had ford thought of it. It really sets off the gauges in contrast to the dash and creates a cool red sunburst around the gauge needles that ties in with the existing red line. Just make sure you take the time, and some goo gone and Q tips and clean the adhesive backing from all the numbers and symbols before applying the backing This will prevent the dummy lights from being too dim from the adhesive. Just Do IT!

    White gauges

The gauges are a breeze to install with a few simple tools. the look great with the "my color" feature. The only downside is that without the headlights on the backlight is white that makes the numbers hard to see in the daytime. The problem is not so bad with natural lighting on the gauges. But my windows are a little dark... and dont allow for much of that. Windows down there A OK!!!

I think it'll grow on me

Reading previous reviews, I noted removing the factory adhesive from the backing of the face. I installed it without removing just to see what the fuss was about. I could see that the indicators where blotchy or blurry. So, I removed the adhesive with the goo be gone... let it set for a few minutes to loosen it up and I found using my finger was easire than a micro-towel. Then used a clear glue stick as suggestion in the reviews. It looks a bit sharper now but not 100%. Because the Mustang lights up the speedo and tach digits... I was expecting them to be more visible but it's almost white on white. However, being able to see the guages easier during the day is what I was looking for overall. The white does stand out and looks great. Wow's from my Mustang friends. I bought one for the wife's 2009 V6... waiting for her ok!!

    overlay install

Overall very easy install took longer to adjust gauge needles. One negative point seems like light barely shines through, very hard to see faint white light against white backround in daylight.
