HTR Z. The HTR Z Series is Sumitomo's Ultra High Performance summer tire. The aggressively designed 275/40-17 tire delivers confident performance in either wet or dry conditions, both on and off the track.
Superb Wet Grip & Traction. Sumitomo HTR Z Performance Tires feature a directional offset V tread pattern that literally plows water out of the way.
Excellent Anti-hydroplaning. Four, deep, wide circumferential tread grooves provide excellent anti-hydroplaning performance.
Enhanced Steering Response. Large angular shoulder blocks provide enhanced steering response and overall dry grip. A solid center rib helps deliver directional stability even in the most heavily grooved highways.
Sidewall Stiffeners. Improved steering response and overall handling without sacrificing ride comfort. In addition to excellent performance, the HTR Z series tires deliver a smooth ride with minimal road noise.

NOTE: These are ultra high performance summer specific compound and tread tires. Use during the summer and warm temperature months will result in superior traction over "all season" tires. Use during the winter months/cold temperatures significantly reduces traction and increases stopping distance as the compound becomes less sticky.
