Does this interfere with the Maximum Motorsports torque arm assembly? I just installed a torque arm assembly and thinking on it and seeing the pictures for this swarr bar, i was wondering if they interfere at all. Has anyone run into this situation?

Will this product fit a 31 spline axle swap?

Zinc01GT

  • It will fit any 8.8 rear end in a Mustang. The axles are an internal upgrade and will have no effect on installing this support.

Sway bar replacement My stock sway bar broke can this be used to replace it or is it supplemental to the stock bar?

Adam706

  • The Swarr Bar is not a replacement for a sway bar. It is an axle brace. You will still need a sway bar even with this brace. It keeps your axle from flexing under extreme stress with high horsepower applications. Hope this answers your question. Have a great day and thanks for using American Muscle!

I installed this without a lift just using floor jacks in about 30 minutes. Pretty straightforward design. If you have a 9/16 open end wrench and a 9/16 1/2" drive socket, a good cordless drill and a 25/64 drill bit you have all you need to do this yourself. I put this on my Kenne Bell 2.1 L equipped '96 Cobra which also has 3.73's and Nitto 05R's out back. I wasn't really having any issues with my car just added this for a bit of piece of mind and to strengthen the rear a bit. Its well made and looks like its gonna help, I'll find out at the track near the end of the month!

    Strengthend The Rear! Better Grip!

The install was straightforward and easy. I did notice a faster launch and a little less spin on the first test drive! The rear end feels more solid. Also a noticeable gain in the corners as well. I was skeptical but now I'm very happy I purchased the Swarr Bar. Honestly the price is great and the gains are worth it!

    Swarr Bar 8.8in Rear Support

Install was quick, longest part was tightening all the bolts. Launch performance is fantastic, stiffer axle and faster launching. I can still chirp my tires into 3d, not into 4th anymore with the swarr.

    From experiance

I've spun two axle tubes on two seperate occasions and i did not have this product. Now.. I do. Has not happened since. I'm running a 4.6 w 125 shot of nitrous, t-45 tranny, alum drive shaft, and a rebuilt 8.8 with carbon discs, moser 31 spline axles. pushing about 498hp and 517rwtq. Of course this time around I welded my axletubes to the housing and installed this product. I dont plan on pulling a rear end any time soon lol. Great Product!!!

    awsome product

Took about an hour to install .this brace dramatically reinforces your axle tubes to your rear end . I noticed a difference as soon as i took my 1990 mustang lx down the street . works great great price also.

    Great product!

Great product for keeping the axle tubes from flexing under acceleration. This is not to be confused with an anti-roll bar that is made for suspension, but rather a support system for the rear drive-train components. I matched this product up with a rear differential cover and welded my tubes to the housing for added support on the ford 8.8.

    Swarr Bar

If you want to put more horsepower to the ground, and make your stang benefit more from all the bolt on mods you have then you need this swarr bar, it kick ass, eliminates the flexing of the axles, and makes your car launch straight and puts alot more horsepower to the ground, huge difference. It will make your car faster, installation was very easy, took about 1 hour

    Quality Product!

The Swarr Bar is a very nice piece, with quality welds, and finsh.Very simple to install, took roughly 30 minutes or so to install.I have not yet seen if there is any benefits from it yet.Stang is parked for the winter. But from what i read,it should help out those axle tubes in the long run,and that's what i was looking for.
