Definitely a must have

I have been looking everywhere for one of these sockets, especially since I put on my new rims. It should come standard with any aftermarket wheels. You will never have to worry about scratching the wheel

    Yes, it fits.

    January 10, 2014

I'd bought a set of aftermarket wheels that needed those tiny aftermarket nuts. I can't use them since I have the ARP wheel studs. The only tool I had was a spark plug tool- that says on the side to use only for spark plugs. I'd tried everything from Craftsman to HarborFreight and this was the only thin walled socket that worked. I got 2.

    perfect for my winter wheels

    January 22, 2014

couldn't find anything that would fit my winter wheels nearly as well at lowes/depot or sears. i really like how it fits perfectly onto my stock lug wrench so i don't have to carry around a breaker bar... in fact, i store it on the lug wrench with the donut so it's there in case of emergency without taking up any room or clanging around in the trunk.

    Worked as Advertised

    December 31, 2013

For the tighter rims, this is a definite must buy. Couldn't get my 2010 GT-500 style rims off with a standard sized 13/16" and all the auto stores didn't carry them. If your looking at getting aftermarket wheels for your Mustang, definitely add this to you cart as well, you won't regret it!

    Great product overall

    October 30, 2012

Purchased this as I wanted a dedicated socket for my lug nuts on track days. I must have overlooked the description as I was hoping for a 1/2 drive, this has a 3/8 inch which i will just use with an adapter on my impact gun.

    Thin wall socket

    July 22, 2012

Works great with thin walled rims. Carry with you a must. Any service needed in tires. This socket needed to avoid any damage to rims.

    would recommend

    April 04, 2012

Product works fine. Nice having the male hex on the end so I can still use my 1/2" torque wrench and 1/2" drive sockets on the back, as the thin walled socket is 3/8" drive. Care must be taken when using as the stamping on the sides raised material up outside the OD of the washer, so the area where the symbols are stamped can scratch and/or remove paint from the wheels while installing/uninstalling lug nuts.

    Definitely a must have

    December 07, 2011

I have been looking everywhere for one of these sockets, especially since I put on my new rims. It should come standard with any aftermarket wheels. You will never have to worry about scratching the wheel around the lugs, and it makes it possible to use the stock tire iron. It's definitely worth buying as it is extremely well priced.

    Great for Afrtermarket Rims!!!

    December 07, 2011

This is a must have if you have a nice set of rims and dont want to scuff them with a standard socket and if your "jimmy-rigging" it with a spark plug socket dont waste your time this part is cheap, durable, and designed for this job. $9 could no WILL save your nice and possibly expensive rims!!!!! Well worth it.

    A very versatile socket

    February 03, 2012

I like the idea of a concentric shoulder which allows you to use either a deep 3/4" or 13/16" socket to mate to this socket if the need arises. The 3/8" drive matches my speed wrench to unwrap lug nuts in a speedy fashion. The quality is excellent and the price is right.

This product is ideal to keep your rims damage free.....

    December 07, 2011

If you have a nice set of rims, this product is well worth it. I have 20" Toxic(brand) rims on my 2006 Mustang GT, and not only is it great to use on your own DIY projects that involves removing your wheels but it also comes in handy to keep in your car's trunk as I have encountered a few business's who did not have the thin wall socket on hand, and fortunately for me I have the necessary tool for the job to keep my my rims free from being scratched or damaged by hydraulic lug nut removal.
