Then you should upgrade your rigs front brakes with a Tactical Xtreme TX6R Big Brake Kit for the ultimate in braking performance. Wilwood engineered their Tactical Xtreme TX6R Front Brake Kit for severe duty service on heavy duty trucks weighing up to 14,000 lbs which means you can confidently bring your F-150 to a stop when towing or hauling a large load.
TX6R Brake Calipers. Wilwood's TX6R radial mount six piston brake calipers are forged from aluminum for lightweight and superior strength. These TX6R calipers feature stainless steel pistons with high-temp internal bore seals for dependable braking performance. Wilwood completes their brake calipers in a durable gloss red powder coated finish for sporty good looks and long lasting corrosion protection.
GT 60 Curved Vane Rotors. Wilwood's GT 60 Curved Vane Spec-37 Rotors are precision machined from a proprietary iron alloy that was derived from the materials and technology used to develop extreme duty spec rotors for the military. GT 60 directional rotors feature an asymmetrical slotted pattern and a vented design for increased cooling capacity and long service life. Being a two piece rotor Wilwood includes aluminum hats that are machined in a flared bell ribbed configuration for high strength and minimum weight.
Smart Pad BP-20 Brake Pads. The included Smart Pad high-performance brake pads are manufactured with a high-friction, sintered metallic compound. This metallic friction material ensures confident stopping power, at all temperature ranges, during medium to heavy-duty braking applications. In addition to better performance, these Smart Pads also provide aggressive pedal feel without the harsh noise or dust levels commonly associated with high metallic based brake pads.
Direct Fit Bolt-on Upgrade. Wilwood designed their Tactical Xtreme Front Brake Kit to be a direct fit replacement upgrade for your F-150’s factory caliper and rotors. Using basic hand tools, this Big Brake Kit can be install in about 3-4 hours with no modifications required.
Front Brake Upgrade Kit. Wilwood's Tactical Xtreme Front Brake Kit includes TX6R 6-Piston calipers, high performance BP-20 brake pads, two piece 15" GT 60 Curved Vane Rotors, braided stainless steel brake lines and all the hardware required for a straight forward bolt-on installation.
Application. This Wilwood Tactical Xtreme TX6R Red Front Brake Kit is designed to fit all 2010-2020 F-150s including both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive models with the factory spindles installed.
Application Note. This 6-Piston Wilwood Front Brake Kit requires the use of 20" diameter or larger rims for proper clearance.
