Description
Duragrip Posi Differential. Stop doing those ridiculous one wheel burn outs by upgrading to a Yukon 8.8in 31 Spline Duragrip Posi Differential from AmericanMuscle. A Limited Slip Differential (LSD) sometimes referred to as a "Posi" will allow both rear wheels to plant the power to the pavement giving you better traction and more impressive burnouts.

Heavy Duty. Featuring a case constructed from nodular iron, this Yukon Gear Duragrip Limited Slip Differential boast forged 4320 steel internals and composite clutches for dependable heavy duty performance and long life.

Application. This 8.8" Yukon Gear Duragrip Posi Differential will fit both solid axle and independent rear suspensions (IRS) equipped V8 Mustangs from 1986 to 2014 as well as 2011 to 2014 V6 Mustangs. Requires use of 31 spline axles. (Will not fit the 2013-2014 GT500).Application Note: 1986-2004 V8 Mustangs came factory equipped with 28 spline axles, except for 2003-2004 SVT Cobras which were 31 spline. All 2005 and newer V8 Mustangs come equipped with 31 spline axles.

Technical Note. You will need to reuse your factory 8.8” gear set, or upgrade to a set of our 8.8" rear gears required for this Limited Slip Differential. No aftermarket gears are included. For normal driving conditions we recommend you use 75W 90 rear gear oil. This will give you the same oil weight as factory. For colder temps or race use try 75w 140.

    awesome product and awesome price!!!

    I broke the spider gears in my 2012 GT differential. I debated over the Yukon vs. the Eaton, but after talking with many dealers, I found that they are pretty much built with the same design. After the install, it seems to be working great with no noise or problems. I would highly recommend this product based on the fact that its an upgrade over ford traction lok without a large price difference.

    Great Product For The Price!

    i had blown my original LSD while having fun, installed this with some issue due to me but once that went away and i broke it in, phenomenal product. installed and had a solid feel of the rear end and grip!! Not to aggressive for street but aggressive enough to hold it's own!

    This product offers power traction in various conditions that improved my wheel spin. Even ender normal driving conditions. I'm pleased that this is what you need. With out over thinking performance as a daily driver it has the ability.
