| A few years ago, I knew that I wanted a Shelby GT-500. I was dead set on having one. That was, until I layed eyes on my beautiful black Shelby GT. From the moment I saw it, I knew that this was the car I had to have. The dealership was having a hard time selling it and they really knocked down the price for me. I will have had my Shelby GT for two years this May and I appreciate driving it more and more each day. It is an absolute dream to drive and I am extremely attatched to it. I have plans to get the new Thumper cams made by Comp, and also plan on getting a Vortech V3 supercharger in the near future. Some may say that is the cheap way out, but it fits my budget and there are many upgrades for it that I can purchase later, such as smaller pullies, an intercooler, etc. Right now, my car is quick and fun to drive; just like a regular Mustang GT. But I wouldn't say fast by any means. That will come with time, hard labor, and money. I get comments all the time about how beautiful my car is and how great it sounds. It is one of those cars you that, when you pull into a gas station, everybody looks. I am so proud of my car and look forward to spending many more years with it, as I never plan to sell it.
