The stock 1986 to 1993 5.0L Mustangs came with a decent 225 Horsepower and 275 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a Vortech Supercharger System you will be planting a ground pounding 331 Horsepower and 358 lb/ft of Torque to the pavement. That is 106 more horsepower and 83 more foot pounds of torque over stock!

Complete Kit. This Vortech Mustang Supercharger System comes with High-flow fuel pump, FMU, MSD ignition system and all the required parts and hardware needed to upgrade your mild pony to a wild snarling beast.

CARB Certified. Best of all this Vortech Supercharger system is 50-state smog legal under CARB EO# D-213-17.

Application. This Satin Vortech Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 1986 to 1993 Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine, including the LX and GT models.

Well engineered kit,had no problems installing it myself(I'm no master mechanic).Didn't use the the fmu n timing retard box that came with it,have other mods, heads,cam,intake.So I ended up having it tuned W/SCT chip,SCT maf and 42lb injectors.Ended up with 429hp and 430tq on a street tune,haven't tried the race tune yet.It's been on the car 2yrs now with no problems what so ever.If your engine is stock you be able to get by with just the parts supplied in the kit.The only part I wasn't happy with was the dryer hose they that goes from the MAF to the blower,I ended up using A silicone hose instead.Beware! boost is addicting,ready to change the pulley on it to get more boost.Just hope my bottom end can take it.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
