Improves Horsepower. This Cold Air Intake kit completely replaces the stock factory air box and restrictive paper filter element in your 2005- 2009 V6 Mustang with a high flow filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower and throttle response, while filtering out destructive power-robbing dust particles. This CAI pulls cooler, denser air from inside the inner fender well to make more power that you can feel.

No Tune Required. Unlike other Cold Air Intakes on the market for the 2005-2010 V6 mustangs the BBK CAI does not require a computer re-tune. The engineers at BBK really did their homework to improve your pony's power using the stock factory tune.

Reusable Filter. BBK designed their high flow cotton air filter to be reusable, so there's no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

I installed it in my 2010 V6, took about 20 minutes. There was nothing to it. Easy instructions to follow. I had no codes or problems. Next to install is the magnaflow catback system I ordered. Turning my V6 into a sleeper all thanks to AM.

Couldn't be happier. From box to car, everything needed was included and fit perfectly. Screws for the MAF ran in just fine. The engine light will be thrown if you don't disconnect the battery for 30 mins and the reset the computer as per the user manual. My car threw it until I reset the computer and now it's as happy as it can be, even with a dual exhaust! Overall, great product for a great price. Well worth everything for a quick bolt-on mod!

I recently purchased this for my 2005 V6. I was skeptical after reading some of these reviews saying that you'll need a tuner else you'd run into problems. Personally, this is the only mechanical upgrade I have on my Mustang, and I have not had any problems with it. I can definitely notice the difference in my acceleration and power. When I first backed out of my drive way, put it in drive and pulled off, I was surprised and shocked. There was no more "delay" in the acceleration. At the bottom of the instructions that are included, it gives you a heads up about the possibility of running lean. So far, my baby is running perfect. If you're questioning it: don't. It's an awesome upgrade for something so simple.
