Description
More Power & Torque. Improve the performance of your 5.0-powered Pony with a set of BBK Shorty Equal Length Headers. These headers will greatly improve exhaust flow over your restrictive stock manifolds to increase your 5.0's horsepower and torque.

Equal Length Tuned Design. BBK Shorty "Equal Length Tuned" Headers out perform both the stock factory manifolds and regular shorty headers. Equal Length Tuned Headers have a unique extended tubular design that allows for unrestricted exhaust flow to increase horsepower and torque. Perfect for both the street and strip.

Quality BBK Construction. BBK Shorty Tuned Equal Length Headers are manufactured from 1-5/8" CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. These headers also feature one piece, laser cut 3/8" header flanges for additional strength, leak-free performance and a OEM fit.

Silver Ceramic Coating. These Shorty Headers are completed in BBK's Polished Silver Ceramic Coating that not only looks great, but reduce under hood temperatures to help increase horsepower and extend the life of the headers. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both chrome plated and polished headers.

Application. This pair of BBK Shorty Equal Length Tuned Headers are designed to fit 1986-1993 Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine, including the LX 5.0, GT and SVT Cobra models. Kit includes mounting hardware, gaskets, and instructions for an easy install.Technical Notes. CARB approved and street legal in all 50 States - CARB EO #D-245-8.

Technical Notes. This BBK throttle body is CARB certified (CARB EO Number: D-245-8) and 50 state legal.

    Great looking headers

    These headers (BBK equal length ceramic coated) fit up with little trouble. There was a bit of interference with the steering shaft on the left side, which was easily cured by installing new motor mounts; so I do not fault the headers for that problem. These parts lend a very smart appearance to the engine bay. I do not yet have an opinion relative to any performance improvements, but I can say that I am not sorry that I spent the money on these headers.

    Makes 'er snort

    These headers are pretty awesome, they are a pain to get in but totally worth it. Made my Mustang snort like a wild beast sounds fantastic, however the steering arm rubs on them slightly and i can feel lots of vibration in my steering wheel as a result but other than that a good buy.

    BBK Ceramic Headers

    Purchased these headers to replace the factory headers on 93 Mustang. I am no mechanic by any means, however, I did finally get these headers to line up and bolt on with relative ease after placing a jack under the motor and lifting the engine up a couple of inches. After lifting the engine up the headers went on relatively smooth. I enjoyed the project and defiantly enjoy the sound and performance. Purchasing and shipping from American Muscle was simple and fast. Thanks.

    Perfect Fit

    these bbk shorty headers were a bit of a surprise. I expected fitment problems in my 93 because of steering components, that was not the case. these headers not only fit with very few changes under the hood, the sound is nothing short of amazing and they just give my 5.0 a wider more aggressive look. oh, and the 15 rwhp gain doesn't hurt either
