Description
Custom Styling. Give your Mustang a race-ready, "big brake" look with a set of brilliant red Mustang Caliper Covers. Whether you're setting off some aftermarket rims or just adding some custom style, a set of caliper covers will give you a look that's sure to turn heads.

Reduces Brake Dust. These Caliper Covers not only look fantastic, but they act as a dust shield to keep your rims looking cleaner longer.

Quality Construction. MGP makes their Caliper covers from light weight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum that is formed to the caliper for a perfect fit. The covers are then powder coated for a long lasting high gloss look. The installation brackets are TIG welded in place for extra security.

Easy No Mess Install. Painting your calipers can be messy and time consuming, but the MGP Caliper Covers simply install over your stock calipers and are held in place with the supplied clip and bolt. For a no muss, no fuss install.

Application. Designed to fit over stock brakes, this set of four MGP caliper covers include all the required hardware needed for installation on 2011-2014 GT and V6 Mustangs. Does not fit Shelby GT500, BOSS 302 or Brembo equipped GT models.

Fitment: 2011 2012 2013 2014 Details

Will it fit my Mustang?
  • V6 - 11, 12, 13, 14
  • GT - 11, 12, 13, 14

Does not fit Shelby GT500, BOSS 302 or Brembo equipped GT models

Technical Note. A minimum of 1/8 of an inch clearance between the wheel and the brake caliper is required for proper fitment. We have found that the MGP caliper covers will require the use of a small 5/16" spacer to provide proper clearance with our aftermarket Bullitt wheels, see drop down option above

Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out MGP’s front and rear caliper covers, fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs. So here’s the deal, an aftermarket big brake kit is not exactly cheap, and painting your factory calipers can sometimes not give you the results you’re looking for. These covers from MGP are a great way to cover up those ugly factory calipers, while adding a little customization and helping to reduce the brake dust on your wheels. The covers are offered in a red or a black powder coat and with a number of different logo options. We have a couple here on the table including the red GT logo, the complete black Cobra setup, the red running Pony logo, and the black 5.0 logo, just to name a few. Taking a closer look at the calipers you’ll first notice a very durable T6 aluminum construction, along with that powder coated red or black finish. In addition we have the officially licensed logo right in the center, along with some simulated hardware for a more realistic look. The installation really isn’t all that bad and should take you about an hour from start to finish. Of course you will need to remove your wheels just to gain access to the calipers so make sure you have your jack handy. In addition you’re going to want to make sure 3/8” wrench just to tighten up the hardware on the covers themselves, but other than that everything is completely straightforward. So if you’re tired of looking at those rusty factory calipers and you don’t feel like forking out big dough for an aftermarket big brake kit, you’ll want to look into MGP’s caliper covers available right here at AmericanMuscle.com

Will these work with deep dish bullitt style wheels? I have a 2014 GT and just put the staggered set of deep dish bullitt style wheels and the front caliper looks really close to the rim.

Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

I was very impressed with this product. It was the exact look I was hoping for on my car. The install was relatively easy. I did have to make a few adjustments on the front covers to ensure the covers did not rub the inside of the wheels. The instructions were easy to follow and plenty descriptive. The install time was right at one hour and that could have been less had I been in a shop on a lift. I used a floor jack and did one wheel at the time right there in my home garage. Definately worth the money. Would highly reccomend to anyone wanting to add a little something extra. It has been noticed and commented on by several people since I did the install a week ago.

Looks great, but a little finnicky in installation.

These are beautiful and a better alternative to painting the calipers. The installation instructions imply that the front clips are symetrical, but they are not - there is one for right and one for left. I tried swapping them back and forth, but the engineering reasons for this was not obvious. I finally broke down and went inside and watched the installation on youtube, where I could see which clip was for each wheel. Listen to the instructions and don't over tighten things - this causes the clips to bow, and the disk brake will scrape till you redo it. Now that you have read this and know the gotchas, your install time will consist mostly of time spent taking the wheels off and putting them back on again. Easy, not horribly expensive and attractive. Now if only my ex-wife had been like that! (Come to think of it, maybe she was easy...)

    Fitment needs work

I can't deny the fact that these look absolutely amazing (especially behind black wheels on a red car), but the fitment needs some work. The "C" clips that come with it tend to grind on the top edge of the brake rotor. I purchased a set of these for my 2010 Mustang last year and had this issue. I couldn't solve it so I returned them. On our new 2011 GT I couldn't help but try again thinking it may have been the car. However I have the same issue. I've installed and reinstalled them about 3 times now. I had to take the "C" clips and grind them down so that they would not hit the brake rotor and I no longer have any issues.

Badly built product that needs to be redone

the bottom clip didn't fit right like the rest did, it was cut wrong! Scrapping metal to metal is very annoying.....needless to say they got sent back and refunded. Shame though, they did look awesome

    Red caliper covers w / 5.0 logo

This is one of my 50 mods I added to my 2011 5.0. Looks fantastic!"mustang" written on the front and "5.0" logo on the rear. easy to install and a great install video on line. Don't forget the 1/4" spacers for the new rims. I added the crome deep dish rims from AM.

    American Muscle Delivers Again!

Purchased the set of 4 for my 2013 Race Red California Special GT/CS, and they look absolutely stunning. I have them behind AM's deep dish, high gloss black bullitt rims. Quick and easy to install, the finish quite closely resembles the paint of the car. I was able to have these installed with proper clearance WITHOUT having to purchase spacers; the secret to this is simply bending down the caliper retainer wire to where the cover will hug the caliper itself more closely. Whether or not this works for you seems to vary for whatever reason, but my install went just fine without the addition of spacers for the vehicle.
