Depending on the cams you buy, you may need additional parts. Check the description of the specific cam you are ordering, or talk to your performance shop to see what they recommend. Typical add-ons would be new retainers, or a valve spring kit.
Determining what cam is right for your application is a little tricky. It really depends on what the intended use of the vehicle is. Usually, a stage one cam is the most you will need for a daily driven Mustang. Anything rated higher than that, it is best to speak to your performance shop to see what will work best for you.
I'm pretty certain this is the best shopping experience I've ever had. I found what I wanted on AmericanMuscle.com, then did some price shopping and ended up coming back and order from them because they had the lowest price AND free shipping too. I honestly look forward to spending more money with American Muscle. They have customer submitted photos in addition to their great product photography as well as installation guides from users and manufacturers. Their videos are honest and incredibly useful. I can't think of anything else I'd like to see from them. Ryan B
