Downforce does this front fascia give good downforce at a high speed? im curious because ive put some performance parts into my car and i feel under high acceleration now the front end is loose and sloppy and needs some down force to keep it from doing this and im wondering if this fascia will help with that.

  • No, it does not add additional downforce unless you add the splitter AM #52999 which is a perfect match to the fascia!

Fog lights I have both sets of fog lights, the ones in the new chin i just got and the existing ones in the Grill. I would like to have both turned on with the same switch. Do the connection supplied wires work for both sets of lights or do I need a different type of connection wires or adapters?

  • You can use the wire pigtails that come with the lower fascia and run them to a relay that draws the 12 volt power source from the battery and use the stock fog light wires for your ON/OFF switch to your relay to turn them on when the stock fog lights are on. Secondly I'm not 100% sure on how many watts the new lights use but another option may be to splice them with the pigtails to the existing fog lights and add a relay that handles more amps. I'm guessing the stock relay under the hood for the fog lights is a 30 amp and you should be able to buy a 40 amp to put in it's place and that will help power all 4 of the lights without robbing power from your stock ones as long as the wires aren't really small gauge wires feeding them. I'm about to do this myself to my 2011 GT so we will see.

Will the fog Lights work with the V6 I have a V6 with the GT bumper so I was wondering if these fog lights would fit on the same way. Also, do I need to get any extra pieces?

  • If you have a GT bumper cover installed then this piece will fit right on. They come with 2 wire harnesses to plug the lights into the factory fog light plugs but if you want to keep the fogs they can be spliced in and work fine. The lights on this part are more like accent lights not good for use as fogs because they arent to bright. If you want to get rid of the yellow colored lights a Sylvania H11 bulb will fit your headlights and fogs. I used a 35watt HID kit with 6000K light signature which is bright white and got LED bulbs for the stock fogs because they produce less heat.

fog light bulb size I'm looking to put HID's for the fogs. What size bulbs are they?

  • Iv been wondering for the longest time and no one could answer what they are but they are an H11 bulb size so you can swap them out for HIDs

Replacing the bulbs with HIDs to match Raxiom Headlights for V6? I wanted to replace the yellowish-orange color of the Lower Fascial bulbs with a brighter white HID bulb, and was wondering if this is doable to match the Smoked Raxiom Headlights for a V6? What exact bulbs would be necessary for the replacement? Much appreciated :)

  • I have these on both of my Coyote's and ended up going to an HID kit like you are asking about. I went with a quality kit that has 35 watt bulbs and a 6000K light signature, which is bright white, anything higher is blueish in color. If you go higher than 35 watts then you risk melting your head lights or worse. I also bought the Raxiom Halo fog lights to match and due to the size I bought LED bulbs to match the headlights because they don't put off as much heat. A H11 Sylvania bulb is the bulb number you want if you dont buy HID's or LED's but want brighter lights over what comes with the Raxiom's which don't due it for me.

    Great product

This is a great addition to the front end of the Mustangs. It makes it so much more agressive and lower to the ground. I wish they could show a write up how to run the fog lights on the valence and the ones people have in the grille though. But no other complaints here!

Improves the look of the front end so much!

This was one of the first mods I ordered the day I got my GT and it makes the front end look soooo much more aggressive and lower! Taking off the front bumper of my week old car made me a bit nervous but since it's a Ford product, fitment was excellent and the included instructions take you through step by step. It bolts right on with no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this product! (My only gripe is that it eliminates the use of the grille fogs so I'm trying to work out a solution to have all 4 fogs on at once.)

    BOSS boss 302 front fascia

Looks absolutely killer along with raxiom halo's and the black fog light delete with the running pony emblem. Pretty easy to install, I did it my self and as Im only 17 should be pretty simple for anybody. If you are thinking about it, BUY IT!

    GT/CS Front Fascia

I absolutely love the look of this new fascia on my Mustang. This really is how all GT's should look from the factory! It definitely makes the front end look lower and meaner. Installation took about an hour and a half, but I was taking my time. The instructions that come in the box were very good, I really didn't have any major issues in figuring out the steps. Getting the bumper off takes a bit of effort, but not too much. The new fog lights are much dimmer than the stock ones in the grille, just FYI. Overall though, I am very pleased!

    Boss/CS style - Great improvement

This piece is a huge improvement over the stock piece. This is how they should come to us. I love the lower fog lights, I am not a fan of the large center ones. I would recommend getting an aftermarket HID kit for the fogs to replace the halogens, if your Mustang has HID headlamps to have the lights match (~4300K HID kit for fogs should work well). Install wasn't too bad, I was babying the car a bit, but there are a ton of plastic snap fits that sound like your breaking when you disengage them. Take your time and follow directions and it will work out fine. Don't forget to plug everything in before you button up the bumper cover again!

looks amazing, scariest part is pulling the bumper off

The instructions that comes with this are great. Overall if you take your time, and watch how you take everything apart, then the hardest part is all the *$%& tabs you have to pop out. I also like the new lights better than the original OEM fog lights. They seem to do a better job. Overall it gives the car a better look, as others have said, it makes it look like it sits lower, based off the fact it sticks down a good inch or so lower than the stock piece.

Awesome transformation of my 2010 GT

Ordering and Shipping - Great service via the web. Part was shipped out the next day. Part was well packed. Instructions - Fairly easy to read, however there should have been a note about the removal of the bumper. After removing all the hardware, we wasted 30 mins trying not to break anything. When pulling the bumper, you must apply some force to get the bumper to separate in the corners nears the tires, to get it to separate. There are a few clips. Found a plastic alignment tool helped greatly on the second side. Then bumper fell off into our hands. Fit - New part was an exact fit. No issues. Open action - Create a wiring harness to allow both sets of Fog lights to operate together. (We will post an additional comment if we figure this out). Overall Experience - Final product was awesome. The new look gives this Pony a lot of aggressiveness. Thanks AM for a great product and great experience.

    Straight from Ford

this product is straight from ford, comes with their fantastic instruction manual. TIP: you don't have to take the splash guard off, just unbolt it from the bumper. The part fit like a glove and was great quality. If you're familiar with pulling the front bumper cover off, the install is a breeze. Don't forget, when you put the bumper back on, make sure you tuck the splash guard up above it as you're sliding it on, and dont forget to plug everything back up, 2 sidemarkers, 2 fogs, 1 temp sensor. the fog lights were perfectly aimed (maybe i was lucky) and they're brighter than stock (if aimed properly). Price is high but otherwise I love it.

The installation looks intimidating, but take your time and you will be fine. I was concerned about the wiring for the new fog light, but this comes with two cables that plug into the existing fog light cables to extend them down to the new ones. One thing to note is that going from the 2 center grill mounted fog lights to the 2 smaller fascia mounted fog lights does slightly reduce the lighting in front of the car. However it was not enough to impact my driving nor was it enough to make me even think about switching back. I combined the front fascia with the Boss 302 Splitter, and the retro black billet grill. The front end looks much cleaner and meaner now!

    Great Price & Easy Install

First experience with AM, and im fully satisfied. Fast delivery!! The install is easy but you dont have to remove the bumper like it tells you to. It should take maybe around an hr or so but took longer for me b/c i took off more screws than i needed to and it was raining and had to stop mid way. FIVE STARS!

    Great Product!

Awesome! This lower front fascia was well boxed, delivered on-time, an easy install, and what a great looking improvement. I had already lowered the car but this fascia highlighted that fact and gave it a more aggressive stance. And removing the large fog lights from the upper grill down to the lower fascia, not only made them more attractive but more functional. Great product!

    Favorite Mod

This is by far my favorite mod so far - the fitment and quality of this piece is fantastic, as it is OEM on the GT/CS. The fog light extensions have handy little clips to keep the wires secured, which is nice. Simply install, took 1/2 total, including removing the front bumper and putting it back on.

    Great option!

I was originally going to get the CDC chin spoiler (had it on my '07 GT) and suddenly changed my mind when I saw this one. It's a Ford part so fits perfectly and the extra fog lights look killer. I plan to get the additional splitter in the future too. I spliced in the extra fog lights so that I can use with the original fogs at same time. Perfect!

For someone with little to no experience in molding I must say this install is everything I wanted and more. Install took around 2 hours but once installing everything back make sure everything is where it should be and nothing can go wrong. Wish the instructions were better but with the help from late model restoration everything Wamba breeze
