Description
Entry-level. Edelbrock has designed their new E-Street cylinder heads for entry-level street performance engines, making them perfect for operating from the idle to 5,500 rpm range on 1986 to 1995 5.0L V8 Mustangs.

More Power. Using a modern combustion chamber design that improves the combustion process, these Edelbrock heads have larger than stock intake and exhaust ports to move more air to produce more horsepower and torque.

Made In The USA. Edelbrock manufactures their heads right here in the USA from A356 aluminum castings that are heat treated to T-6 spec for superior casting strength and quality.

Application. The Edelbrock E-Street Aluminum Cylinder Heads are designed to be a direct bolt-on for 1986 to 1995 5.0L Ford V8 engines.

Technical Notes. Use with Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts .550" max lift. (NOT compatible with Hydraulic Roller Camshafts) Recommended spark plugs 14mm x 3/4" reach with flat gasket seat. Requires hardened pushrods. 289-302 cid with 7/16" head bolts requires #9680 head bolt bushing kit. 1.90" heads are ideal for stock pistons.

    Affordable Quality

    I could not separate from my old GT, sure it aint the fastest thing on the road but still part of me. I know there are cheaper copies of these heads but they are made in the USA by one of the most respective auto icons. Definity noticed better power, acceleration, and overall great addition to my top end kit.

    Mild street motor

    These seem to be some nice quality heads for the money and should make decent power too. The machined finish is very good, the ports are not polished, but they don't need any casting cleanup either! I can't comment on the performance gains as this is a new build, but I expect a great running 306 when I'm done. Running an "explorer high torque" cam with these, as I'm looking for fuel economy, not all out performance.
