Description
More Power. This E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger Kit was exclusively designed by Edelbrock to provide instant, reliable and safe horsepower for a stock 4.6L Mustang with low boost for minimum stress on the engine to produce an outstanding 466 HP and 439 ft./lbs of TQ.

Unique Design. The heart of the E-Force Supercharger is the all new Eaton Gen VI TVS® Supercharger rotating assembly that has been integrated into the intake manifold for a seamless design with minimal components to eliminate the possibility of vacuum leaks. Edelbrock's unique inverted supercharger assembly is placed low in the valley allowing for 15" long intake runners for maximizing low end torque.

Stay Cool. Edelbrock uses the largest intercooler available. Keeping the air cool is a 110 square inch high capacity air-to-water intercooler and full face low temperature heat exchanger, making it "coolest running supercharger" on the market today.

Breathe Easier. The E-Force Stage 1 Supercharger system breathes easy through a specially designed 85mm electronic throttle body that is matched to the most efficient and unique inlet configuration on the market today for a shorter less restrictive intake path for improved air flow.

50 State Legal. Unlike the competitors, Edelbrock Superchargers are 50 state emissions legal under Carb E.O# D-215-77.

Application. This Edelbrock E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2005-2009 GT Mustang's equipped with the 3V 4.6L V8 engine.

  • You can. It's called a compound boost system. If you google that you'll see some awesome setups using compound boost. Something to consider though, is if you need it. You'll need a custom shop willing to build it for you, a bulletproof bottom end, and a viable supercharger setup. You'll want a tuner kit, over a complete kit since the injectors and tune would be useless in a CB setup.

  • Yes as the supercharger will work with a stock hood aftermarket hoods are either giving more clearance or have air induction openings.

Non stock engines Can this work with an engine with ford racing cams and cnc heads?

  • FRPP CNC Heads, yes, but as with any head swap you want to consider the porting details to make sure you're getting an optimal setup. As for cams, you need to pick a grind that fits your intended purpose, your other components, and a supercharged engine, so you'd be looking for a particular cam or a custom grind. So in short there's really no yes/no answer here. However I will mention that FRPP's Hot Rod cams are not recommended for forced-induction setups, so if those were what you were thinking of, look elsewhere.

    Awesome Charger/Easy Install

    Overall im very happy with my E-force charger. Went with the competition cai,smaller pulley and 60lb injectors. Installed myself in about 2 days taking my time. Easy install and awesome install guide and support from edelbrock. Dyno tune ran a max @ 522rwhp but tuned it down to around 485 cause of stock internals.

    Absolutley Perfect!!

    This is hands down the most complete kit available. It looks like it came that way from the factory. Nobody can believe its a kit when I open the hood or open the throttle. I Could not be happier it dyno pulled 426rwhp and 410rwt. My nickname is now Happy Feet!!

    Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger

    I really like this blower, as it has given my 06 GT new life. I had it installed at RPMM here in San Deigo,Ca. I went from 335 HP with some bolt on aftermarket ad-ons to a modest 510 at the crank and 445 at thr rear and is pushing 422 ft.lbs of torque. I did have some issues with the throttle body malfunction and the thrttle was sticking. After cleaning the throttle body twice and not fixing the issue, Edelbrock sent out a newer model throttle body and it has fixed the problem. With that being said, make sure you do not get this charger with the "old" throttle body as you might have the same issues. This was not a big deal only because I have a manual transmission. Overall, kick butt kit and I would definately recommend to all.

    One of the Best Kits

    I installed the E-force kit on my 2008 Mustang about 3 years ago. Switching to the 3.25 inch pulley generated a proven dyno result of 470 ft-lb and 470 hp at the rear wheels. This kit is a very well designed and high quality product. You will not be disappointed.

    Nice supercharger

    Install pretty straight forward. I didn't get a belt in my kit This kit is a really nice kit and produces good power.Comes with nice binder book with pics for installation.The power is very smooth went from 5.1 0-60 mph to 4.3 0-60 mph haven't done any other testing. It's a 06 gt convertible just added the supercharger for my wife but it's now a very fun car on the street . Some mods to suspension and great for track probably a mid 12 car.
