what is lowest i could go on these bolts? i want to lower about 1.5 inches, would these be a good alterantive to CC plates??

austinessexy

  • They would be fine at adjusting your camber... But not your caster. I would say just spend the extra money and get maximum motorsports CC plates. It will ride like it's on rails!

Can these be installed with SR lowering springs? I was wondering if these camber bolts could be used with basically any set of lowering springs, or if they have to be used with Eibach lowering springs? Thanks.

Joey1992

  • The type or brand of spring is not an issue, only the amount they lower it. These camber bolts will solve up to 1.75 + or - degree of offset . If you lower the vehicle past that point, caster/ camber plates will be needed. Hope this helps.

  • The Eibach Pro-Alignment Camber Adjustment Camber Bolts can be used in conjunction with caster/camber plates for further adjustment capabilities.

    Camber Bolts

These are top quality bolts and do the job. Clear instructions. My aftermarket plates were maxed out at 1.75" drop with too much negative camber for the street and didn't like the look. These brought me to -0.8 degrees which is now within factory spec and looks right, easy on the tires.

    Just what I needed

I have Ebach sportline springs that roughly drop the car two inches and the camber plates I installed didn't have the travel I needed to bring the steering back to where it should be. I was looking for an alternative to getting new camber plates when I found these. I didnt install them myself but had the alignment shop do it prior to setting the alignment. I could not be happier the steering doesn't pull anymore and it seems like wherever I want the car to go it will go. Just what I needed!

This is the best bang for your buck if you lowered your mustang and you need to align it. As long as its not a radical change and you just want to align it to normal specs, this will work

    Does the trick

On my 02 GT the Camber Bolts allowed the extra adjustment needed to offset the negative camber that resulted from lowering it 2".

Easy inexpensive fix for lowered stangs

I lowered my mustang about 1" in the front and immediately I began chewing through the inside tread, even down to the wires. I puchased the camber bolts and went down to the local tireshop for tires n alignment, they recognised the part, installed it for me for like 20 bucks and aligned my car. The part was a perfect fit! Was very affordable! It was exactly what I was looking for, for my daily driver! Thnx American Muscle! It won't be the last time I purchase from here!

Needed these re-align my front end when I didn't feel like dropping money on the plates. Super easy install and they surprisingly have a lot of adjustment. Would recommend.

These bolts did what I needed to do & get the negative camber that to a positive don't know why ford never had adjustment for this. Overall better driving experience would recommend this Camber bolt kit. Can't beat them for the price.

If your mustang isn't slammed, this is the way to go

These bolts installed rather easily. If your farmiliar with mustang suspension you can have these in and on the ground in a couple hours. I just maxed out the camber, eyed it then dropped it at an alignment shop and they did the rest. Intrusctions are rather vague. Very pleased with the result.

    Affordable option that works

These provided the perfect amount of positive camber to correct a 1.5" drop with the SR lowering springs. Installation was a breeze- Took less than an hour to do both sides. It helped that I had just done the struts a week before, though. A little pricey given they are just bolts, but they are still cheaper than camber plates. Definitely get a professional alignment after installing!

Car lowered about 2 inches put the bolts in place and made some fine adjustment s to the struts. Took the car to the front end alignment shop and they said the car was in specs. Very good product. ......

    Good band-aid

I bought the camber bolts because I didn't have the time, tools, or cash to install plates. I was 600 miles from my house when I realized I needed new front tires and an alignment... Otherwise I would have bought plates instead. These bolts work as advertised, my alignment is in spec. However, when I finally change get around to doing shocks/struts, I will be installing some plates, I consider the bolts an inexpensive band-aid to correct an emergency issue. With that being said, I don't see any reason why these won't work for a dd.

I bought these after lowering my mustang to get it back in alignment. I didn't want to pay for caster camber plates so I got these and they had plenty of adjustment to get it back in line!

    Camber Adjust Bolts

For some reason, my '01 Cobra had terrible negative camber even with the stock adjusters pushed all the way out. These bolts solved that problem by giving additional adjustment without having to resort to caster/camber plates. These bolts give a full 1.75 degrees of additional adjustment. Installation was easy.

    Great fit but..

This item fit great and did it's job but sadly didn't give enough positive camber for my sportline springs like I was hoping. So I'd say get camber plates for any drop over 1.5'

    worked perfectly

I decided to rebuild the front end , A arm bushings, ball joints etc , so why not lower it a bit while I'm there. Since I didn't need caster adjustment only camber, these worked out perfectly. 1.75 degree + or - was more than enough to do the job . Easy to install and great price.

    Way cheaper than c/c plates

They did the same job that the c/c plates plates would have done for me for way less money. I put H&R sport springs on my car, I needed these to get the camber back to where it should be so that I would not destroy my new tires. The guy that did my alignment said that there was more than enough range of adjustment to get the camber back in spec. The only disadvantage is that I have no caster adjustment. I do not think this is a big deal, not worth 300 bucks to me. Car handles great and my tires should wear evenly. I am happy.
