Do I need to replace my clutch too? When replacing the throwout bearing, does the clutch need to be replaced as well? And while I'm at it should I replace the flywheel?

    Ford Racing, cant go wrong

This is the first part to wear in the clutch system. While I was doing it wanted to put the best part in I could. The factory cable system does not seem to allow for the release bearing to fully release. I installed the adjustable clutch cable and quadrant. The pedal was still bouncing from the bearing just touching the clutch. I installed a bracket with a spring to pull the release bearing completely away from the clutch. Now the bearing will last as long as the clutch. Previously the bearing would just touch and would be spinning for no reason. The spring I installed took care of the clutch pedal bouncing around due to the release bearing touching the clutch. Simple, yet very effective!

    Super high quality bearing

I changed out the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing that came in a clutch kit. Two months later the clutch release bearing came apart, so I had to pull the transmission again to replace it. From now on, I will go with the ford racing bearing to ensure that it doesn't happen to me again.

    No more chatter!

I installed a SPEC clutch in my Bullitt last May and it's now October and the spec TOB was squealing already. Ordered this and now it's perfect. Clutch engaged smoother than before with no extra spinning. Also put a new ford racing pilot bearing in as well. Great product!

    GREAT product a "Must Buy"

I have a 2003 Mustang GT, recently bought the Spec stage 2+ clutch from AM, and purchased the Ford Racing Throwout Bearing for it. I couldnt be happier with the Gear Engagement, and how well it handles my 435Horsepower. Ford Racing TB is one of the best on the market in my book, no noise or grinding, and i will buy this again.

    FRPP Throwout Bearing

The best throwout bearing on the market. I have worked with many throwout bearings and this is by far the best one out there. I recommend this for anyone who is replacing their clutch. Buy it, trust me, you won't regret it.

    The BEST

I believe that this is the best throwout bearing to use as a replacement. Releases better and just seems to last longer than other aftermarket brands!

    Ford Racing TOB

I got this part because it is a MUST if you're changing out your clutch. Its a very strong part and I know I don't ever have to worry about changing it again. It can't compare to the weak pieces that come with the clutch kit.
