Cheap Insurance. When installing new gears in your Pony, a set of Ford Racing Ring Gear Bolts is cheap insurance against future problems. Why use that old, unreliable hardware when you can replace it with fresh hardware to ensure your gears perform flawlessly. Legendary Ford Racing Quality. Made from steel for strength, these 7/16"-20 x 0.875" Ford Racing Rear Differential Ring Gear Bolts feature thread sealer already applied to threads for convenience.

Application. This set of 10 Ford Racing Rear Differential Ring Gear Bolts is designed for use on all 1986 to 2014 Mustangs equipped with 8.8" rear gears, including the 5.0 LX, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, SVT Cobra, BOSS, Shelby GT500 and 11-14 V6 models. Technical Note: These bolts can also be used for automatic transmission flywheels.

These bolts have slightly oversized heads when compared to the original/stock bolts. They fit perfectly and with the threadlocker already installed it was a very simple installation. Would definitely recommend

Bolt your differential cover on!

These bolts are better at holding on the differential cover than the masking tape I was using. No leaks this time around!

    These bolts have slightly oversized heads when compared to the original/stock bolts. They fit perfectly and with the threadlocker already installed it was a very simple installation. Would definitely recommend the bolts when you are replacing the gears in your stang! Much better quality than the factory ones.

    I'll. Start by saying that AM always comes thru with what they promise, high quality products, on time delivery, great customer service and the dealer had this set of bolts for 80 dlls and it was a two day order, so, great prices from AM. Customer for life!!!

    A Good Idea

    Not much to say. Factory equipment high grade ring gear bolts. But Ford would say that they need to be replaced every time they are loose for any reason. If you're doing a gear swap or trading out your factory differential for a locker of some sort, the ring gear has to come loose. When these bolts are tightened at the factory or otherwise, they stretch. After they are stretched they no longer will be able to provide the same clamping force that they did when they were new if you reuse them. They don't cost you that much money. Do the smart thing and replace the bolts if you have to take them loose for piece of mind.

    Just Like Factory

    Bolts worked perfectly as if the factory was installing them. Always recommended new bolts when changing gears don't wast a few hundred dollars on a 10 dollar part.
