stock replacement, nothing fncy

Original headlight lenses were all scratched up so I replaced them with the Black Projector CCFL halos (item #49128). Those looked great but I could never get them aimed properly. Even Ford dealer couldn't

    Worth the Money!

    September 21, 2013

    Review from

Not only was my local dealership unable to get this part, but it was double the price in the catalog. I needed the headlight because mine was cracked from some impact, maybe road debris, or someone backed into my headlight. Cracked enough that I noticed it. Decided to give this a try, was not super easy for a novice, had to disconnect and drop down the washer fluid bottle. But after relocating the bottle was able to get the old one out, like a puzzle game, had to twist and angle just right. Put new one in, in reverse order. Keep the plastic protector sheet on the lens so no scratching occurs. Remove plastic after it is in place, just before tightening screws. Beautiful part! Noticed though it was slightly different from factory original, had a center black cover over bulb inside housing, so I purchased the other side and installed that one so each side matched exactly. They pop very nicely, and are bright. Both included new bulb as well, so I saved old one for later. Worth the trouble, good quality, close to OEM. Great price!

    Not Exactly OEM

    September 21, 2012

    Review from

The product is well built, but its not exactly OEM as it has a black plastic shroud over the lamp, where as my '07 GT OEM headlight assemblies do not. Its fine if you are replacing both, but if you are replacing only one, you can tell the difference and if you have a show car....take marks off. The shroud also seems to deflect light a little from the sides, so its not a wide spread. Overall, nice product, but wish they stuck with the Ford design for the internals.

    good aftermarket headlight assemblies

    July 27, 2012

Bought these to replace my beat up factory headlight assemblies. These look great and fit very well. The only negative is that the lighting pattern/spread is less than the factory units, but I've seen this with other cars using aftermarket replacements as well. I put Silverstar bulbs in to brighten things up and I'm satisfied for the total cost.

    Stock Headlight assembly

    December 12, 2011

    Review from

Price wise you can't beat these if your looking to refresh the beat up light assemblies, better than just going to the parts store. I was a little disappointed about the fit but that maybe my fault since this was a replacement after the stock one was crushed from being hit.

    stock replacement, nothing fncy

    June 06, 2011

    Review from

Original headlight lenses were all scratched up so I replaced them with the Black Projector CCFL halos (item #49128). Those looked great but I could never get them aimed properly. Even Ford dealer couldn't get them right. Useless at night, lights didn't illuminate the road at all. I decided to go back to stock lights. These were easy to install and aiming was a breeze. I also replaced bulbs with higher quality Sylvania Silverstars. Now front end looks stock again but at least I can see at nighttime.

Unit was a direct fit and finnish of OEM product. Down side was there was a 1" crack on rear of housing requiring silicon glue to repair before installation

(see my review of LH light). Good replacement for original factory light. Easy to install, very easy to aim, suggest replacing stock bulb with Sylvania Silverstars.
