Heavy Duty. The the stock factory Universal Joint (a.k.a. U-Joint) is fine for a everyday commuter car, but if you are making serious horsepower it can be the weak link in your Pony's drive train just waiting to break leaving you at the side of the road. So replace it with a Heavy Duty Lakewood unit and put more power to the rear wheels.

Durable Construction. Lakewood created this U-Joint to last using ultra-durable chrome-nickel-moly alloy cross and caps, and special high-carbon steel and induction heat-treated needle bearings.

Application. This 1330 style Lakewood Performance Universal Joint is designed to fit the 1987 to 1995 5.0L Mustang with manual transmission as well as the automatic and manual 1996 to 2004 V6 and V8 Mustangs.
