    • No, the 2013s are going to have a different hood scoop than this one made for the 2010-2012 because like you mentioned, they did change the '13 hood slightly. Keep an eye out!

      Best Looking Hood Scoop

Install was simple and took less than an hour. However, like other posts mentioned the scoop will gap on the sides if you put the center line 22 3/8 down the hood. I found it to be a perfect fit 4 more inches down 26 3/8 and still looks great. It completed that American Muscle car look I was going for with the side scoops and louvers. I recommend this scoop!

      Fit lower down the hood

The contour of the hood matched up with the scoop a little lower down the hood than the directions indicated, but I really like it better there anyway. Very cool look.

      MMD Hood Scoop - Pre-painted (10-12 GT, V6)

The scoop looks great and and fits well. It does require drilling three holes in the hood. I didn't care so I had it installed and it looks outstanding. The prepaint matched perfect and you wouldn't know it wasn't factory installed. To me it added something missing on my GTs hood.

      To flimsy

Located correctly , arch on sides in the middle maintain 1/8 gap . Would not fit flush with hood.

      mmd hood scoop

This scoop looks really good. Had scoop and hood painted at the same time.I just wished i could have gotten non painted to save a couple bucks but still well worth the money.

      Bling for a car

This does look good. Seems funny how something that is relatively small, gives the car a very different and better look. I'm glad I bought it.

Looks great, but the bad template dimensions ruined my stripes.

I installed the scoop many months ago. At the time I followed the directions and mounted the scoop per the template dimensions. As others have mentioned, it was off 4" making it too close toward the windshield. I didn't know it was off because I just used the written instructions and drilled the holes in my hood. After mounting it, I stuck everything down with the tape provided. The tape held it down at the time, so I went on with life. A day or so later, I noticed that there was a gap along the side of the scoop now that the tape would no longer hold down. The tape in back was still holding and the gap wasn't really that noticeable, so again, I went on with life. Over the following months, because of washing and whatnot, the back tape finally no longer held. The front screws were holding it pretty tightly, so I thought I was fine. However, the slight movement of the scoop at driving speed was wearing into and tearing up the racing stripes on my car. :( Now it looks terrible! The finisher was this morning when I was driving at high speed and the scoop flew off the car and crashed to the concrete, basically destroying it. Result: destroyed scoop, damaged stripes, obviously have sun bleached stripes now, so a new scoop cannot be remounted in the correct position without replacing all the stripping on the car. So now my weekend show car is out of commission until I figure out what the heck to do to remedy the situation. ($$) UGH. AM, fix your instructions!
