Reduce Windage. Windage happens when oil splashes out of the sump onto a spinning crankshaft which in turn creates a swirling cloud of oil mist that causes parasitic drag on the engine. By installing a Moroso Windage Tray on your high revving modular engine you can reduce windage and reclaim lost horsepower.

Superior Design And Construction. Constructed from 14 gauge steel and completed in a clear zinc finish, the Moroso Windage Tray features a louvered design that allows oil thrown from the rotating assembly to drain back into the sump without splashing back on the crank.

Application. This Moroso Windage Tray is designed to fit on the 1996 to 2010 V8 Mustangs equipped with a modular 4.6L or 5.4L V8 engine and simply bolts between the engine block and oil pan. Oil pan studs and nuts included.

Technical Note. Diverters in the factory oil pan and oil pump pickup may need to be trimmed on some Mustang Cobra applications.

    Great quality

    Did the install on 01' GT using stock oil pan and Ford racing high volume 4v oil pump. The tray seems to be a sturdy piece. Good quality mounting studs and nuts are provided for the oil pan/tray assembly. The tray mounts between the block and oil pan which makes assembly a bit more convenient than trays that mount to the main studs. Basic instructions are provided, but fitment must be checked and modifications to the oil pick-up tube and stock GT oil pan baffles may be necessary. The instructions give you an option to either use two oil pan gaskets and sandwich the tray between them(which I did) or use a single oil pan gasket on one side and apply RTV sealant on the other. I did the install with the motor out of the car and it would be safe to assume that trying to install the tray while the motor is still in the car would be challenging. The tray also cleared a 5.0 stroker crank in my motor with ease. Great buy for a high revving motor.
