    2nd set

I had bought a set of these when i ordered my PP intake plenum, and worked fine, but it failed on cylinder 8 so i had to go ahead and order another set. I belive it wasnt sitting right, so hopefully the new set doesnt fail on me. Gasket is a much better quality than factory A suggestion for anyone having trouble lining them up right, find at least two bolts the similar size as the plenum bolts, longer if possible, cut the head off, and with a grinder, make a notch so that a flat head can fit. place bolt into the holes, just enough so they hold in place, and you can place both the gaskets, and plenum in, just lining up the holes with the bolts in place. with the plenum in place, go ahead and put at least two bolts in(with heads) and remove the other two that were used as a guide. Same concept used when replacing heads on a block. Hopes this helps

    professional gaskets

Do not buy these because could not get a good seal. Had to go to a ford dealer and buy ford gaskets to get a good seal. I wasted a lot of time and the price of the professional gaskets. I do like the intake manifold. $30.00 bucks down the drain.

    Garbage Gaskets

These gaskets are garbage, hands down. Ordered a set along with an aluminum intake manifold. First off, these gaskets are roughly half the thickness of the stock gaskets. This wouldn't be important except for the fact that clearance of the typhoon manifold and the coolant pipe underneath are a big issue. Every 8th of an inch is important. Asides from this, these gaskets are very cheaply made! They don't any metal where the bolts go through, while the ones sold at auto stores do. Also there were only rubber seals on one side, while once again the auto stores sell ones with seals on both sides. If you have 30 bucks to waste then buy them! Otherwise go to your local auto parts store, spend the same 30 bucks and get a much higher quality product.

    Faulty product

I purchased this product to go with the Typhoon intake manifold I purchased. When I opened the package I realized that the "Silicone Bead" was missing from one of the gaskets. This alone was a major bummer as it caused me to delay the installation for another week. I contacted Precision-Products and they shipped me out a new set of gaskets immediately. Other than that minor issue the product and service are great

    Bad Gasket

Installed the intake gasket correct. When i went to start the car i had antifreeze pouring out the motor and also blowing out the exhaust. Pulled it all back apart and everthing was precisely where it needed to be. The gasket definitely wasn't one of my best perchases

thin Intake manifold gasket that only had sealant on one side

this gasket leaked before i even started the engine. The gasket was too thin or the intake manifold that i purchased from Amerian Muscle was warped and uneven so I had to reinstall with a thicker gasket that i had with a better o-ring type sealing surface. I would like a refund for money spent on the gasket that failed for whatever reason and if the manifold developes a leak again after installing it with a thicker gasket i will be asking a refund on the intake manifold also. Hope we can get past this as i have always had good luck with you guys in the past.

    • Response from AmericanMuscle

These Typhoon Gaskets are intended to be used with Typhoon Intakes Manifolds only, which is why it didn't mate properly with your PI Intake Manifold. With the correct gasket, you won't have any leaking problems with your new PI intake manifold. Give our customer service a call so that we can get you a refund on these gaskets.

Professional Products Typhoon Intake Manifold Gasket (96-04 4.6L 2V)

After my recalled factory intake manifold blew, I went ahead and started browsing for full aluminum manifolds. I liked it because it provides great flow, and can handle Nitrous without blowing. It was easy as replacing the stock manifold, just a little heavier, might need another set of hands. If your looking to do NO2 then go ahead and purchase this, plus you can always have the runners ported even more.

    not perfect

These gaskets are not perfect but do the job. I was hoping for the plastic O-Ring gasket that comes from the factor on my motor however these are paper gaskets. they are a little bigger than they need to be and stick out underneath the manifold. Seems like all ports line up though

    great choice

The intake gaskets were a good choice for me though intake gaskets are not a big performance enhancer the intake spacers I have to go with the gaskets is a big gain.

    They're Alright

I ordered a set of these when I replaced my intake with a Professional Products Typhoon Intake Manifold. The stock gaskets looked like they might seal better, but these seem to be performing pretty well with no problems, so I can't complain.

Worked fine just wish it had the tabs on it like the stock gasket to hold it in place while your trying to put the intake manifold in.
