True Dual Exhaust. Now you can easily convert your V6 Pony to a true dual exhaust with a Pypes Cut and Clamp X-Pipe. Just install this Pypes X-pipe along with the 2005-2010 GT catback of your choice, to give your Mustang an impressive throaty V8 sound and up to 12 more rear wheel horsepower.

Compatible With Stock Cats. The installation of this Pypes V6 X-pipe requires cutting the factory H-pipe and reuses the stock catalytic converters saving you money.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction. Pypes uses sturdy 16 gauge 409 stainless steel mandrel bent 2.5" tubing for improved flow and features welded reinforcement plates for additional strength.

Application. This Pypes X-Pipe is designed for use on a 2005-2010 V6 Mustangs in combination with an aftermarket or stock factory 2005-2010 GT dual catback exhaust system. Reuses the stock factory Catalytic Converters.

    Great fit with a GT Catback!

    I bought this to use with a take-off catback from a GT and the install went very smoothly. I did not need a pipe expander, I just went to the local auto parts store after measuring the diameter of both pipes and bought a pair of universal exhaust clamps (cost around $30 for some nice stainless ones). Measuring two or three times to make sure where you cut comes in handy here so you do not have a big gap to bridge with the clamps. I installed the mufflers and mid-pipes first before I cut so that I knew exactly where I needed things, as opposed to the directions, which just have you reference the stock cat location and come close based off of holding up the new part against the old. That also allowed me to fine-tune the muffler placement / amount of tip exposed instead of having to move the muffler / pipe to accommodate the x-pipe. The only thing I wish they would change is including the bumper cutout template with the kit. Even when printed according to their instructions, one of the bumper lines never matched up where they said it would. I ended up using my calibrated eyeball instead. I would definitely recommend this part to a buddy (without snickering after doing so)!

    Put this X pipe in alogn with 2.5 piping a dual flowmaster thunders and my mustang came alive. Gave me a deep sound that wen reved its a bit raspy and i love it=) added a BBk air intake got a deeper sound and all together picked up probably around 25HP
