RAM Clutches Street Dual Disc Clutch w/ Flywheel; 10 Spline; 8-Bolt (96-10 4.6L)

Clutch. The RAM Street Dual Clutch uses RAM's 300 series steel backed frictiondiscs in a sprung hub top/solid hub bottom arrangement. The sprung clutch disc features an eight springhub assembly with urethane encapsulated springs for added durability, and a marcel springthat helps eliminate the 'on/off' switch operation of most dual disc clutches. The holding capacity for this clutch is in excess of 900 ft.-lbs., yet the engagement is smooth enough for everyday driving.

Flywheel. The included RAM Billet Aluminum Flywheel is surface ground for a flat, parallel mating surface and balanced to the factory specification within a ½ ounce inch. Also the Aluminum Flywheels feature a ¼ inch thick steel friction surface for better heat dissipation without distortion that can occur with thinner inserts.

Kit Includes. This RAM Dual Disc Clutch kit comes complete with a 10-spline 10.5" Diameter Disc, a 10.5" Diameter Clutch Plate, and a 8-bolt Aluminum Flywheel. Throwout bearing and alignment tool are not included.
