These durable acrylic covers look great on any color Mustang, and are extremely versatile thanks to the easy on, easy off Velcro install. Either way it looks great. Install couldn’t be easier as there’s no drilling or messy glue needed. You simply prep the area first with the supplied alcohol pads, then remove the backing on the tape, and press firmly into place. Start to finish, everything should take you about 30 minutes or less. Either by themselves, or paired with a set of smoked headlight covers, these fog light covers are sure to make a statement that will set you apart from the others.

Ask a Question

Can these be easily removed if I want them taken off?

Bigred95

  • Yes, you can pull them off with some elbow grease, and can use goo-b-gone or similar product to get the 3 little 3m double sided tape marks. Very easy. The only difficult part is getting behind the cover to pull, but still super easy.

Are they easy to put back on after taking them off ?

Steve6

  • They are easy to remove, however you will need two small flathead screwdrivers to evenly apply pressure to remove them. Since the covers are basically "friction fitted" you must release the friction to remove them, thus the two tiny flathead screwdrivers.

will they work also on the 2013 fogs

wolfmanron

  • No, these covers have a flat top to accommodate the way the fog lights fit into the grill. The 2013 is round all the way around.

They make the front end look great especially on the 2010 GT because of the dark chrome pony. But when you turn the lights on the light emitted isn't much less than stock, but when the light shines through them, you can see the 3m sticky tape used to keep them on, so a little tacky in my opinion. Any one else feel the same way? any solutions?

    Good but not Great.....

So the fog lights are a well made product and yes they do black out your fog light to give you mustang that mean and aggressive look. I like that they were easy to install - all you do is clean your fog lights, remove the plastic from the sticky 3M tape that is on the covers and stick on. After being put on they will not move. So now to my likes and dislikes.... I like that they look great and makes you car look very aggressive, especially if you have the head light cover as well. They are easy to clean and stay firm on the mustang and will not move. My dislikes far exceed my likes because to let you know i took the fog light covers off after only 3 weeks of having them on my car. Reason i took them off was many reasons - being pulled over plenty of times in the state of california for having tailight, headlight, and fog light covers, so just the hassel with that. At night they dont look good when you turn on you fog lights, i wish they would fix the big 3 3M tape circles that come with the covers because you see the tape when you turn on your lights and it just does not give it a clean look at all. So in the end i took them off. I would recommend to anyone who does not live in CA and can use these legally along with the headlight covers and tail light covers they all make a killer combo, but just not for me and my car....well not for me and the cops...lol.

    Pretty Good Product

Pretty nice look...blacks them out very well. Not as good as the GTS ones for the 05-09, but they do the job and I hate the fog light look in the grill. The 3M tape does show if you turn them on but with them blacked-out they don't put out enough light to bother with.

good fix, but not if you're trying to have a show car that will have close up shots

These fog covers get the job done. When the lights are off, they look great, like a dark tint. Of course with the lights on, you get the 3 sticky tape shadows which there's fixes for if it really bothers you. the fit is okay. there's slight gaps around the edges if you look very closely, but someone has to come up to your car and look right up on it to notice. Overall, a great solution if you dont like using heat guns and stuff for vinyl tint (rounded lights are hard to put vinyl on). The gaps I guess are a necessity to help you remove them, but again, barely visible if you're not looking for them.

    Installation

Installation is simple if you use a spare suction cup (like from your radar detector) to hold lens while placing it. Otherwise you need VERY small fingers. Really improves the "stealth" look but also renders the fog lights useless if you need them to see the road. Not much light gets thru.

Looks great during the day...not so hot at night

Looks great during the day...not so hot at night. It's a nice finishing touch to a black pony with everything else blacked out with tint or covers. I get a lot of complements on the blacked out look. The only problem is when you turn on the lights...the velcro kind of stands out like a sore thumb. Also once on they do not come off easily with out risking pulling off the velcro from the fog light.

looks decent but should be cheaper...

I would not recommend this product for anyone who lives in a rural area. These light covers dim your fogs heavily. Basically, it looks good during the day when you can't see the adhesive tape that hold them on, and when you aren't depending on the light source. If you live in an urban area, the streets are normally bright enough at night for you to see even with dim lights...

Would look great if it didn't have gaps...

From a distance away these will look fine during the day when your lights are off. However get a lil closer and you can see a gap that either going to be small on one side (¼") and flush on the other or have a small gap on both sides. At night you have the tacky way the things are installed being the Velcro tape brightly broadcasted.... Overall I am disappointed with this product..

During the day they are fine, but at night when you turn the lights on the lights you see the velcro. I don't use mine till I figure out how to use them without the velcro.

    Looks bad asss!!

I give these 4 stars because they make my black 2010 gt look really mean and vicious but they decease the amount of light my foglights used to shine. If they used to shine at 100% then now they shine around 50% but they still make my car look bad ass.

    Alright

Ordered these for my 2012 5.0 for the aggressive look. Install was easy, but the fit was less than great. I found that no matter how you move them around there will be a slight opening on either side of cover. I found that adjusting to where there is just a small amount on both sides, approximately 1/8 inch. Looks good either way.

I was never a fan of the fog lights on the new cars, this is great way to add to the look of the front of the car without removing the factory grille

    Nice look

Maybe a little bit pricy but I got them on sale so it was well worth it. I really like the look for such a minor change. I do agree that the three dots that show up when you switch on the lights is a bit tacky but I hardly ever use them anyway so not that big a deal.
