Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

There was a nasty crack in my taillight when I bought the car and I finally got around to replacing it AM style. Standard shipping to CA always takes five working days and this time was no exception. Product arrived in perfect condition. Replacing this unit is not rocket science but takes a little time and patience. Knowing that I'd have the trunk open for about an hour, I popped the trunk lid lightbulb out so as not to burn it up needlessly. Next I removed the back and side carpet panels just far enough to gain access to the four nuts securing the taillight assembly. At lease one nut requires a deep socket for removal and that's the easiest way to break 'em all loose. Gently remove the unit and disconnect the wiring harness. Be careful not to drop it and scratch your paint while changing it out! After hooking up the harness and placing the new unit in position, test your brakes, turn signal and reverse light before buckling it up. Hand tighten all the nuts and insure that the placement is correct before cinching them down. The whole process took me about 45 minutes but I work slowly and carefully. The part was a perfect fit and AM scores again with the lowest price and best parts available.
