Features
  • Eliminates Annoying Dash Light
  • Easily switch between Winter and Summer rims
  • Includes 4 TPMS Sensors, Syncing Tool, and DVD
  • Designed for all 2007-2009 Mustangs
Description
Turns Off Dash Light. Your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you when the pressure drops to an unsafe limit. This a great safety feature, but if you plan on upgrading to a new set of rims you will need to install new sensors in your new wheels, if not you will have an annoying dash light constantly reminding you that your sensors are missing. This TPMS Full Mounting/Balancing Kit makes it possible to install new sensors into your new rims and sync them to your cars computer - eliminating that annoying dash light.

TPMS Transmitter Tool. The TPMS Transmitter is used to sync the new sensors to your cars computer after you have installed them onto your Mustang. You simply point the transmitter at the wheel listen for the cars horn and move to the next tire, we include an instructional DVD explaining the whole process.

Kit Contents. This TPMS Kit comes complete for use on four wheels and includes 4 Stem-Mounted TPMS Sensors, 1 TPMS Transmitter Tool, and DVD Instructions. This kit makes it easy to switch between your stock rims and aftermarket rims at will. The TPMS Transmitter Tool can be purchased separately if you already have your sensors.

Important Tire Rotation Note. When rotating tires that are equipped with TPMS sensors it is important to reuse the TPMS Transmitter Tool to recalibrate the sensors. By rotating your tires you are changing the physical location of the sensors and your cars computer will need to update to be aware of this location change. Failure to do so will result in inaccurate and incorrect low tire pressure monitoring.

I need TPMS monitors I have a 2007 Mustang GT convertible. I believe the old wheels had TPMS bands in the wheels, but I no longer have those wheels. Will the TPMS full mounting/balancing kit - 4 wheels, item # 76160 work for me without buying or installing wheel bands? If so, I will order it from you.

Bills Year: 2007 Model: GT

  • Yes, this package would replace the older band clamp style TPMS. This valve stem sensor kit would work perfectly for your wheels! Hope this helps!

TPMS Installation When I buy my package set of Wheels and Tires with the TPMS kit, will American Muscle install them before the Wheels and Tires ship out or do I have to get them installed somewhere else? Thanks in advance.

KeShawn Year: 2008 Model: GT

  • That is correct. When you order a wheel and tire package along with the TPMS kit and select the option for Free Mount and Balance, the sensors will be installed at the time of mounting and balancing. Once your package arrive at your door, all that's left to do is install your new wheels and sync your sensors using the included syncing tool. Hope this helps!

TPMS sensors I've been buying factory rims for my mustang 2007 gt on ebay want to install them now but have no TPMS on any of the rims. Confused as to what do i actually need to put them on the new rims....??? Thanxs

onital Year: 2007 Model: GT

  • Just buy the Valve Stem TPMS kit here on Am with the tool If you dont buy the tool then a tire shop will need to reprogram the TPMS on your car Not a big deal either way Just dont get the 2010 and up TPMS its a different frequency range for the 2007 to 2009

Fixed my TPMS fault light problem.

My factory TPMS was not working giving false alarms from time to time. This new set fixed the problem and the valve stem version seems to be better than the banded versions of TPMS. Great products, great prices, great customer service.Great experience as always. Thank you very much.

    TPMS kit

As far as the TPMS kit, it's pretty simple to install these things. The only issue i really had was the band didn't fit through the original bracket. luckily it came with 4 alternate brackets, so i took the sensors off and placed them in those, and the bands fit easily. You also save a good chunk of money by ordering through AM, rather than Ford.

    Works Great

Did the job perfectly. Local tire shop had no problem putting them on, could have done it myself if I had a tire machine.

    Worked but a hitch

Well this worked well for my 2008 I added 20" wheels 35 series in the front and 30 series on the rear The front synced up every time. I had trouble with the rears. they would fial every time no horn honk Finally we pointed the learning tool at the tire just below the valve stem on the rear tires and walla they synced.
