100% New. This 130 Amp Mustang Alternator is 100% Brand New, not re-manufactured like other companies sell and is tested at the time of assembly. It comes complete with internal voltage regulator and pulley. The 130 Amp alternator will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with no modifications required.

More Power. The PA Performance Alternator produces 80+ amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft RPM), and 160+ amps at maximum (6000 alternator shaft RPM).

The stock alternator had a lot of short comings, power surges all the time. The new performance alternator never miss a beat.

Recently started getting the "Check charging system" sporadically while driving and figured that the stock alternator was on its way out. I picked this up and had it and a new belt installed in under an hour. Car feels smoother and runs quieter. Definitely an easy do it yourself job, just make sure you have a 1/2" drive breaker for the tensioner and its smooth sailing. The lifetime warranty has a ton of stipulations so we'll see if thats actually worth anything, but so far... a great buy, easy install and no regrets.

I bought this alternator after my stock failed. Installed with a friend in about 1.5 hours which included a run to the store for a 1/2" breaker bar to loosen the belt tensioner. We're both getting into fixing our cars on our own and we were able to figure out how to install this pretty easily. We also threw on the upgraded wiring kit which was a breeze.Note: I have been asked multiple times at my apartment complex, red lights, and parking lots if I have a supercharger after we installed this bad boy. It does have a little bit of whine to it which is easily noticeable at under 15 mph. I like the sound personally, but it is there for those concerned.
