Magnaflow Axle-Back Exhaust (05-09 GT; 07-09 GT500)

I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m going to be taking a closer look at Magnaflow’s Axle-Back Exhaust system for the ’05-’09 Mustang GT. The first thing I notice when taking a closer look at the Magnaflow is the overall quality of construction. Stainless steel throughout, 2 ½ inch mandrel bent tubing, quality welds, and a bright polished finish from the muffler all the way down to those 4 inch dual polished tips. I will tell you that this system is very mild in terms of sound, it’s just slightly more aggressive than stock with a throatier exhaust note at idle and when you’re on the throttle. It’s still going to flow a little bit more than your factory exhaust, but if being loud is your number one priority, then you might want to check out a different kit from either Pypes or Flowmaster. Installing this kit is very straightforward and should take you no more than an hour using some standard hand tools.
