Since I was in college, I’ve had several used cars: ’84 Volvo 240, ’97 Toyota Tercel and a ’91 Chevrolet Beretta. When I had my first job opportunity, I could own my first new car, a ’97 Hyundai Accent giving in trade-in my Beretta; although I think that it was a bad deal, but the Accent gave me an excellent service. Later when I move to another job and was promoted in 2005 I bought a Toyota Celica, because it was the nearest to a sport car.
In 2000 when I saw the 2005 Mustang prototype I was very impressed, and it turn out to be my dream machine because seeing that radical model I thought that it was out of my reach. When the much awaited model arrived to Puerto Rico, I was comforted to see it pass by my side, but I wanted to see it more closely. So one rainy day I went in my Celica with just 8 months of use to a Ford’s dealer to see the 2005 Mustang. The same day I left my Celica at the dealer and returned home with my new 2005 Mustang GT. |
