Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out this Mach 1 style chin spoiler fitting all 94-98 V6 and GT Mustangs. The 94-98 body style seems to be a love it or hate it model within the Mustang community, no matter what side of the coin you’re on, we can all agree on one thing, these SN95’s certainly look better with the addition of a front chin spoiler. This chin spoiler is directly inspired from the factory chin spoilers found on all 03 and 04 Mach 1s, and as you can see it really adds some much needed muscle to the front end of our 98 GT here in the shop. Taking a closer look at this spoiler, you’ll immediately be able to tell that it’s not made from some cheap plastic, like other spoiler options. In fact, this spoiler is made from extremely thick and rugged injection molded plastic, but it’s still able to bend and flex just in case you ever get hung up on a parking block or something similar. The chin spoiler does include all necessary hardware needed for the install. When doing any install such as this, I highly recommend getting the car up in the air slightly, just to give yourself a little more room to work. All in all the install itself shouldn’t take you any more than 30 minutes. If you’re one of the many 94-98 owners out there who think every SN95 should have come with a factory chin spoiler, well here’s your chance to grab one for a great price, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

    Nice looking piece

One of the first appearance mods you should do to your Mustang. Very easy installation, it helps if you have some one holding the spoiler, but I used a big K&N cone filter I had laying around to hold up the front while I drilled the holes on each side. I started by the wheel wells and worked my way forward, alternating sides. Ended up using a few nuts, bolts, and washers of my own. I know some people move theirs forward so it sticks out the front more, but it just doesn't look right when it's not lined up with the wheel wells.

    For my 95

No mustang should go without this! I got one for my 95 GT and it looks Amazingtonaryalationticismistic... Yes its a word I just made up on the spot because the word "Amazing" would of been an understatement. It gives it such a mean look it sometimes makes me want to cry and stay inside. Than I realize its my car and sometimes have to show it whos boss. Installation was VERY easy. Took about 20 minutes. I would suggest grabing a buddy to help line up and hold it up while putting it in, other wise I could see it being frustrating. Duct tape will become your best friend too. Best mod for the money hands down. Dont think twice!

    Looks Complete

Well, first off the chin comes in a 2'x2' box.. So after taking it out, allowing it to stretch and bending it back to its correct form.. it looked pretty good to put on. Not hard to do, however, I did have to drive my pony up onto a 2x4 under each wheel in order to get the drill to fit under the bumper so I could make the holes. The chin comes with 17 holes and 14 bolts/ sets…don't drill out the hole in the middle of the corners or the circle hole located dead center(unless using this hole .. along with two on each end to hold it in place while marking all other holes/ or use duct tape.) once its on..it looks great! for those of you that don't have it…SUCKA!..makes the car look complete...if I were to do it again I would prob. make the chin a matte finish instead of the simple plastic finish it come in...looks good, fast/free shipping ..lovin it!

    Like my chin!

After much hassle with keeping the paint from chipping and cracking, I was able to get a nice smooth shiny coat on my chin spoiler and finally got it on my car! I looked through so many pics to see what it looks like on a '98 model since the bottom facia doesn't match the spoiler as well as the 99's and up models. Thought it still looked good and went for it, and glad I did! Matching it up with the color of my car really helps, and I reccomend doing so if you don't have a black or dark grey car. Makes the spoiler look more like a part of the car. With Eiboch Springs, makes front end look mean!

A must have for getting that aggressive front end look on your SN-95!!!

Chin spoiler is awesome on my 95 GT! Came wrapped in a small box which caused a couple of funny bends in the spoiler but after sitting out for a couple of days and a little heat they go away. Install took about an hour or so. Found it much easier to start with the very front hole in the center and then work out from there to each end. Painters tape helped hold it in place while I worked. I did elect to use every pre-drilled hole on the chin spoiler which left me 3 bolts, 3 locking nuts, and 6 washers short. A quick run to Lowes to pick up a few extra and I was good to go. In the end I couldn't be happier and was so glad I made this purchase!!!

    Looks great

I was a little apprehensive when it came to purchasing this. I looked at a lot of pictures and still couldn't decide if it looked right on the SN95 cars. I saw it was on sale so I ended up getting it. It looks great, pictures really do not do it justice. Installation isn't to bad, some of the nuts up in the bumper can be hard to get at but not to bad.
