Could not resist the draw of the long tubes!

I have had long tubes in the past and had nightmares thinking of the install...problem solved and let the shop do it this time.

    Excellent Power Gains

These headers are a great buy. Power gains were definitely noticeable. Not to hard to install. The drivers side goes in from the bottom with lifting engine. Passenger side, I had to unbolt the passenger side mount only and lift the engine a couple inches. The only thing I modified on the headers were the welds inside of the flanges which were a restriction. This only took an hour to do both with a grinder with metal burr bit. My suggestion would be to buy the copper gaskets and grade 8 locking bolts (or whatever they are called) as I have read that this gasket/bolt setup is stout and did not want to do this job twice. I only wish AM had these gaskets as I like to purchase all my stuff from them-wink wink AM ;).

    BBK Ceramic Long Tube Headers

I was installing a new top end on the motor and decided to add the long tube headers. Even with the heads off the car you still have to raise the passenger side of the engine to allow the header to line up properly. The product and finish looked great. Haven't ran the car yet to rate the performance gain.

install tricky, needs to be easier

Sounds great, JUST installed them so they are leaking a bit until I retighten the bolts. My main thing was that the engine lifting brackets wouldn't fit on there with the bolts provided or the ARP I bought. The engine oil dipstick bracket had to be trimmed to fit. Advice- lift the engine on the passenger side, on the side of the oil pan (first I lifted from the oil pan and bent it); think of a smog delete kit or something with the smog bc it won't connect to the o/r mid pipe; U need short sockets to tighten the bolts maybe even the breaking extension. I have a mechanic shop so it was easy I had all equipment. If I didn't I would pay to get them installed.
