Great

Great shipping! I took my car to Ford to be programmed and didn't know my car had PATS so they gave me programmed keys. Looks so much better and it's so easy to start now.

Hey I read that this gen has a anti theft system (PATS) and I was wondering if after installation would you have to have keys programmed by a Ford dealer or will the keys be able to work after installation?

  • All I can tell you is that the last time I had a key issue in the Washington, DC area I found out that Ford Dealerships have gotten out of the key business. It has been taken over by a Third Party Company. I'm sure your local Ford Dealership can refer you to them and they can help you figure out what needs to be done. I'm also sure it has to do with how smart your Smart Key is at this point. Just the key ran me almost $300 as I remember. May you be blessed in your discovery. John
