There are 3 questions to ask yourself when buying new pads. How hard to you drive/brake? What type of driving do you do? What is this pad going to be used for?
For high performance Mustangs, people tend to work on maximizing the amount of power that their motor creates, but they never consider that when you drive faster you will need to stop faster. Upgrading to a “big brake kit” will increase the surface area of your brake pads and rotors, allowing the system to work faster and more efficiently.
Our customers tend to get a brake conversion kit if they have rear drum brakes, or if they are looking for a larger, more efficient disc.
Both styles work well to dissipate heat that builds up during braking, but many times cross-drilled rotors tend to crack under extreme braking conditions.
I'm pretty certain this is the best shopping experience I've ever had. I found what I wanted on AmericanMuscle.com, then did some price shopping and ended up coming back and order from them because they had the lowest price AND free shipping too. I honestly look forward to spending more money with American Muscle. They have customer submitted photos in addition to their great product photography as well as installation guides from users and manufacturers. Their videos are honest and incredibly useful. I can't think of anything else I'd like to see from them. Ryan B
