Rip it all out, weld it up, put it all back in!

Do like the title says! That's for the rookies out there, that think they can weld but don't understand the heat!!! Pull out everything, seats, console, interior body panels, and then, make sure you get

I put one of these in my 99 cobra, being very careful to weld the main hoop outside of the car, I was able to slide it into the vehicle for final welding of the floor plates and downtubes. I was then able

Do like the title says! That's for the rookies out there, that think they can weld but don't understand the heat!!! Pull out everything, seats, console, interior body panels, and then, make sure you get high heat welding blankets to protect your windows/dash and anything else you don't remove. Was a weekend project with 2 experienced welders. I also bought the carpet resto kit, would highly recommend that as well, especially if your carpet is a bit faded. Use common sense when painting the cage DO IT AFTER YOU WELD! haha. And make sure you wrap anything you don't want painted with plastic. You will have to shop around for the Cage Pads that you want.. AM!!! you need to carry those as well!! I will get some pictures up soon!

I put one of these in my 99 cobra, being very careful to weld the main hoop outside of the car, I was able to slide it into the vehicle for final welding of the floor plates and downtubes. I was then able to install the stock 99 interior (with a rear seat delete) it all looks "factory"
