The SpeedForm Ready-Fit Car Cover that we have here is currently the most affordable of its kind on the site for all '79 and newer Mustang owners who might be looking for some added protection from the elements when parked outside or maybe protection from dust and dings in the garage. Prospective buyers will need to keep in mind that this is a one-size-fits-all cover and not a custom fit option. So, therefore, fit is certainly gonna differ from generation to generation. But judging by reviews, definitely favors some of the older, smaller cars, as opposed to some of the newer, larger Mustangs. Price point for the entry-level option will hover right around 80 bucks. And the install as you might imagine is getting a very soft one out of three wrenches on the old difficulty meter and take no more than a few minutes of your time to complete from start to finish. So, again, guys, right off the bat, this cover is gonna be for the Mustang owners out there looking for something, anything to cover for your ride, but without having to drop the $200 plus to grab something a little bit more premium. So, with that in mind, don't expect the same level of fit and finish like you would see with those more expensive covers. But with that said, I do also think it's a great time to talk about what the SpeedForm is gonna deliver. And again, this is gonna favor slightly smaller cars right out of the box, such as the Fox bodies, the SN95s, and so on, but still will fit S197 and S550s albeit a bit snugly as a lot of our customers have pointed out in the review section. As always, guys, check those out. It's a great way to hear from real-world Mustang owners who have bought and installed this part and to hear what they say about once everything has been installed.Materials on the other hand are gonna be pretty much on par with what you would find with most other low to mid-range covers. And that is a pretty thick, pretty durable material. It is breathable, which will be water-resistant, but not exactly waterproof. And that's gonna be the case with a lot of covers in the category, including the very baller Noah cover from Covercraft, which is pretty much as close to waterproof as you can get. Now, if you do wanna go with a thicker option out there, SpeedForm does offer their custom-fit covers, which will offer not only a better fit but also in much different material for really not that much more dough. Definitely check those out if you're primarily going to be storing your car outside and you want a little bit more protection. Now, this fabric, the Ready-Fit fabric is washable and it has also been treated with a mildew and rot inhibitor, which is ultimately gonna help prolong the life of the cover itself. Now, we did talk about washing it. It is recommended they would be air dried and washed with a small amount of Simple Green in place of any soap or detergent. The cover does also incorporate those small, little tie-downs to be used in windy environments just to help keep the cover in place when needed. But yes, now we are gonna show you just how to install a car cover at home for those of you who might be a little bit confused on the topic. So, without further ado, check out our detailed walkthrough right now.All right, guys, so as you can imagine, this really isn't gonna be that difficult of an installation process. It's really hard to be graceful installing this for the first time, but I will say since it's a universal fit cover, you don't have to worry about getting the mirrors in the pockets first before pulling over the front and the rear of the cover like you would with a more custom-fit option. So, first step, get the cover unboxed, orient the front and the rear, and then basically just slap it on the roof of your car and go ahead and start pulling it over the front. All right. With the cover on top of the car, now you can go ahead and just make sure it's centered, get your sides figured out, and then we'll tackle the front. But first up, let's take care of these sides. I do wanna point out that the cover is labeled for the front. It's on the backside of the cover itself. You'll notice it says front. So, once you get that in the right position, go ahead and secure the front end. All right. With the front in place now just simply go ahead and pull the cover over the back of the car. Again, since this is a universal fit, some of it might be a little tighter for some of you guys, some of it might be a little looser if you have a Fox body. Give it a few tugs, make sure it's level and equal on all sides. And if you are gonna secure the grommets, now would be the time to do so if you're worried about the cover blowing away. But for now, that's gonna wrap up our installation of the SpeedForm Ready-Fit Car Cover available for your '79 and newer Mustang.
