These high quality iron brake rotors feature a drilled and slotted pattern that boosts braking power by as much as +20%. Brake fade is prevented or minimized by the strongly cooling design, with the company's proprietary Kangaroo Paw pillar fin pattern in the vents ensuring that hot air flows out and away from the disc. Additionally, the 144 small diamond or teardrop cross-section pillars greatly increase surface area for boosted cooling.
Modern Engineering. This sophisticated Australian design is a vented brake rotor made from XG150 high carbon alloyed iron, which is very heat-resistant even over long periods of time and won't crack or warp in high temperatures. The non-friction areas are painted to improve appearance and hinder the development of rust. The DBA 4000XS Front Brake Rotors also feature heat paint markings that change color at exact thresholds so you can learn your Stang's actual peak braking temperatures.
