    Nice Loop for the money

I looked at more expensive loops, but why pay all that money for something you can't even see. This loop is plenty sturdy and being in pieces makes it possible to install it without dropping the H pipe. The most time consuming part was taking out/ putting in the seats. I used blocks of wood wedged between the loop and the H pipe to hold it in place while drilling the holes. Worked out good. Took me about 3 hours to install.

    Lakewood Driveshaft Safety Loop

This was the first time I installed a safety loop on a Mustang. After the job was completed, I thought that wasn't too bad. Having a lift would have made the job much easier, but it is possible using jack stands.

    Good fit.

The driveshaft loop doesn't give you much performance gains, but allows you to stay legal at the track and keep things safe.

Great fit and easy to install

Make sure you have a friend this install requires 2 people. Grab some beers and a take your time. The hardware isn't stainless a simple trip to the hardware store fixes that issue. It's a nice piece of mind to know if a u joint fails your not destroying your car. Check twice drill once and you will be fine.

    A life saver

Using one of these drive shaft hoops can save more then your pony if your driveshaft/u joints fail!! I use an aluminum driveshaft which is larger in diameter than a stock steel one, this hoop still leaves lots of room for travel once your mustang has a load on the suspension. Fit the hoop in place and welded it to my sub frame connectors. For the price of the hoop it can save you a lot of money!

Worth it for the extra security

This is the best loop I have seen for the price. I feel that any Mustang can benefit from having this loop because you'll be kicking yourself later if your driveshaft breaks or comes loose. Installation was very straight forward and could be done by anyone handy with a wrench in no time.

    Great product, great price.

The driveshaft loop is a quality piece that I am certain will live up to its task. Quality materials are used throughout. The only drawback I found was it didn't quite conform to my car's undercarriage which made installation a little tricky. Once the best location was selected under the car, the install went smoothly.
