    Perfect replacement

The Ford Racing Pilot bearing is a must-buy for any clutch job, along with the ford racing throw out bearing. Thanks American Muscle for having all the parts I need for the right price!

    Must Have

This bearing is a must have if your upgrading your clutch/flywheel or even replacing your old parts. I purchased this along side the exedy lightweight flywheel and mach 400 clutch. I'm glad I did because the supplied pilot bearing that came with the exedy kit wasn't quite up to par. Keep in mind the pilot bearings have two little notches in the back making it really easy to hook your pilot bearing puller into. I have seen people use the bread trick or even the grease trick when removing the old bearing however for the 17 or so dollars it costs to rent or even buy the puller, it's so much quicker and easier.

    Works great.

Didn't need to replace my old one but when changing the clutch and everyone I decided it wouldn't hurt to get it out of the way before it went out

    Great quality part

It was harder to remove the old one than install the new one. I feel confident this part will perform well for many miles.

    AWESOME PRICE

Great price and why would you not replace this item if you have the tranny out. I thought it was wierd that I order this at the same time as my clutch and they were shipped separately. I got this in 2 days which was well ahead of the clutch.

    Must have

To me, it's something that you need to swap out when you do a clutch install. Not to hard to remove and replace.

    Excellent Product

I read that these Ford Racing pilots last longer than any other brand because of the way they are designed. It has been on my 98 Mustang GT for 6+ years and it is still smooth as silk. Thanks AM!

    Pilot bearing

Replaced this when I replaced the clutch at 88K miles. Used the plumber's putty trick - old came out easily. Hammered in with a mallet and piece of wood - in 20 minutes, old one out, new one in.

    Roller

Nice product couldnt really tell a difference from the stock as fas as just looking at the two side by side. But for as little as it cost I would say why not do it while your in their.

Peace of mind while transmission is out

You would be greatly remiss if you didn't take the moment to install this quality Ford Racing part while you have your transmission out. I used 3 pieces of white bread instead of grease or a puller when removing the old pilot bearing.

    Ford Racing quality

As will all of Ford Racing's products, you can't go wrong with them. From my experience, the excellent quality is no hype and being a factory endorsed product, you can count on them to keep on performing long after many aftermarket similar parts are trashed!

    bearing

bearing is great. But if you order a clutch too you better order this 2 or 3 days before. They ship this usps and it will arrive way after your clutch does. Veeeeeery inconvenient !!!!
