Every time you open up the hood on your S550 Mustang the factory plastic coolant tank sticks out like a sore thumb, if you don't like the styling of the tank then swap it out with a Coolant Expansion Tank from Granatelli Motor Sports (GMS). Featuring a one-piece design, this satin coolant tank is constructed to be much stronger than the factory plastic tank that is a two-piece design, which can fail under high temperature circumstances. Not only will this tank be stronger than factory, it was also designed to provide some additional styling in your engine bay. The tank features a unique tapered design that mimics the angles on the factory engine cover to give it an OE look.

Quality Construction. This Coolant Expansion Tank is hand built from 6061-T6 aluminum for superior strength and styling. It features a stock style threaded neck, allowing you to re-use the factory coolant cap. The tank is completed in a satin finish that can be polished to a bright show winning appearance.

Direct Fit Replacement. GMS designed this Coolant Expansion Tank to be a direct fit replacement of the factory tank. There is no modifications required for installation.
