Auto Cross. Hawk Performance’s HP Plus brake pads were developed and manufactured especially for sport driving applications such as autocross, Solo II, and “track day” events.

Superior Braking. The HP Plus pads utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, high-tech friction material that has an extremely high friction coefficient making the pads "fade resistant" under repetitive, heavy braking conditions for excellent stopping power.

Application. This set of Hawk HP Plus Performance Brake Pads are specifically designed to be used on the front of the 2005 to 2012 V6, GT, and Bullitt Mustangs. Does not fit Shelby GT500. Set includes driver-side and passenger-side brake pads.

Will work for autoX but if your thinking about any serious track day search somewhere else. These gave out on me 15 minutes into my first session. Mustangs are too heavy and require a pad far more heat resistant than these.

Put these on our 07 Shelby GT Mustang and, WOW, what a difference. I put them in when we take it to track days. After track, I then take them out and replace with Hawk HP pads for everyday driving. The HP+ pads are very aggressive. If they are not hot enough, they are LOUD. Simple to install. It takes me a couple of hours. I think Hawk Performance brake pads are very good indeed.

I really like the HP+ pads. I used my Mustang as a daily driver and a weekend autocrosser. I installed the brakes myself the pads with new stock disk. After bedding the brakes, the initial grab of these pads is super. With my sticky autox tires, it's like dropping an anchor. Even around town I like the extra quick stopping power. There is extra brake dust as with any performance pad. I used brake quiet during the install, but there is an occasional squeal on slower stops; however, it's not as bad as I feared and not very frequent. I don't have a lot of miles on the pads, maybe 3,000, but I don't expect to get much more than 10,000 miles out of pads like these. But if I stick to autoxing, I would definitely but another set at that point.
