Superior Handling. If you want your Mustang to handle like a true track car upgrade your Pony's sway bars. Installing a H&R Sport Rear Sway Bar will greatly improve steering response, increase cornering speed and will reduce body roll - turning your Pony into a corner-carving machine. Quality Construction. Featuring forged seamless ends, H&R Sport Sway Bars are cold-formed and heat-treated from a special (hf) 50CrV4 steel alloy (the highest tensile strength available), that is shot-peened to increase durability and check for dimensional correctness.

Bushings Included. H&R Sport Sway Bar kits include special urethane/Teflon composite bushings, that prevent squeaks and eliminates the need for lubrication. No mess, no maintenance, a perfect fit.

This really gets rid of all under-steer!

It was a night and day difference with the Rear sway bar and the end links are huge. Doesn't squeak at all and has no increase in road noise. i recommend this product if you dont want to spend a fortune

    Fixed noisy rear suspension.

    May 11, 2012

My 2012 Mustang GT/CS has been plagued with intermittent clunking and screeching from the rear suspension. Took it to the dealership and they couldn't find the problem. I purchased this H&R kit and installed it in less than one hour in my driveway. All noise is gone and the car feels more planted, especially on cloverleafs. Good investment. I plan to do the same to my Wife's 2012 convertible as it has the same noise problem, which Ford can't fix.

Improved handling is just one bar away.

    August 18, 2013

After installing the H&R Sport Rear Sway Bar I instantly noticed the change. When I zig zag or corner I didn't feel the tilting effect I had before. It almost felt like I was on a roller coaster. I took the same sharp turn I had taken before to test grip and this time it took more power to produce over-steer. I was able to go faster thru a long radius turn without the tires screeching or loosing grip. I bought the H&R because it is specifically made for convertibles, I have an 06'.

So much more fun to drive!

    September 22, 2014

I have an 07 GT Convertible and this is one of the only rear sway bars that will fit. Other than a Steeda front strut tower brace, I have a stock suspension, so any difference in handling can be attributed to the H&R rear sway bar. The stock convertible GT sway bar is 18mm and the H&R is 26mm, so it is much thicker than stock (It is the same thickness as the rear sway bar on the BOSS LS). After reading about thicker rear sway bars on various forums, I was concerned that this sway bar was too thick and was going to create too much oversteer (I do not track the car). What I found after installation, was that the car now handles much flatter, steering is more responsive and communicative, the chassis seems stiffer and the car is just so much more neutral and fun to drive. This one upgrade really transformed the feel of the car. Installation took me about an hour on a lift. I had to take off one of the links to slide the sway bar into place and then put the link back on. This was simple since the link has a couple little hex bolts..In addition, the blue powder coating and billet links are high quality and look fantastic under the car. If you want a better handling, more fun convertible, the H&R rear sway bar is a must!

    Well made product

    September 20, 2014

I primarily bought this because I had a loud rattle from my rear sway bar end links. I figured I'd upgrade the sway bar at the same time I changed the end links. This package did the trick. No more rattle, and no squeaks. No grease needed for bushings either. As a bonus it improve the handling of my Mustang GT. It corners flatter and plants a little harder on launch. Great product.

    Rear sway bar simply works!

    August 28, 2014

This is an expensive upgrade, but certainly worth it. At least my 08' convertible rolled like a sail boat and turned sloppy. After installing this rear sway bar (it's a little tricky to fit it through all the bracing but no big issue) it feels like a new car. It's "on rails" now when it turns and it's super fun to drive. Worth the investment for sure.

    Easy install, big benefit

    September 22, 2013

Install was very easy on ramps in my garage. Did it at the same time I did the lower control arms. Only takes two different sockets, 6 bolts, and the new one is in. Bar is significantly more stout than stock and end links are no comparison. They come assembled and ready to install, and actually make it easier as you can do those bolts first then handle the mounts on the bar ends. Definitely much less body roll when turning in and it will rotate more easily. Very happy and recommended.

    Big change.

    March 22, 2013

I replaced the 24mm unit that came on my 2012 GT with the Brembo performance package. There is a huge difference. The rear feels more solid and is much more planted in the corners!
