  • Performance V2 (87-93 Octane) - The Performance Tune offers a seamless blend of power, performance and drive-ability. Improving the overall driving experience of your Mustang, the Bama Performance Tune improves vehicle acceleration, increases power throughout the entire RPM and improves throttle response with revised timing, fuel, and VCT maps. Automatic equipped vehicles offer an aggressive shifting map to provide more aggressive transmission settings. This tune is suggested for the aggressive daily driver that is looking for more "get up and go".

  • Race V2 (91-93 Octane, E85, Race Fuel) - The Race Tune is designed for maximum performance and ensures the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory as timing, VCT, fuel, and throttle response settings are very aggressive. Automatic transmission settings implement entirely new shift points, torque converter changes and firmness settings designed for Track use.

Nitrous (91, 93, E85, Race Fuel) - Our nitrous option can be added to any of our previously mentioned tune options, but only for 91, 93, E85, or Race Fuel.

Technical Note About Fuel. Use of E85 will require larger fuel injectors such as Injector Dynamics ID1300 or Ford Racing 47lb/hr Injectors. Unleaded race fuel can also be used, but Stoichiometric points must be supplied.

Does this have the option to change the rev limiter and turn the 02 sensor off?


  • When you purchase this device and receive it with our custom tunes, your rev limiter will already be adjusted. When you fill out the custom tune info form there is an option for Off-Road exhaust, if you have off-road and need the rear o2's disabled, we can most definitely handle that for you.

will dtc functions work on all obdii vehicles? I was wondering if the DTC reading and clearing and ecu data info would work with all OBDII vehicles?

    Works great. Hard to get updated tunes

    Works wonders for the transmission. And definitely adds a little hp and torque. But there's definitely a long wait time on getting more tunes if you add parts. I've been waiting 2 weeks To get one. So it's useless to me right now. The first one they sent with the tuner works. But throw a check engine light p506. Idle lower than expected.

    iTSX Tuner = FIVE STARS!! BIG GAINS!!!

    This tuner is a must for any mustang looking to add some extra ponies to their mustang. First off, I got this tuner because I no longer use Windows operating system therefore, I couldn't use the SCT Flash Tuner. I have an iPhone and Mac. Don't believe you can currently use with Macs, but works great with iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Very simple if you know how to navigate on your iPhone and use simple applications. First all you have to is download the iTSX App off the app store. When you order this tuner, BAMA sends you an email where you fill out an online form and give them your specs and mods done to your mustang, and by the time you get the tuner in the mail the custom tunes are loaded on the app. Programing is straight forward, the app tells you exactly what you need to do. Didn't experiment too much with the Performance Test but have heard good things about it, and the Diagnostics works great for reading check engine light codes which I had to use already. My mods currently on my 2010 GT are Roush Cold Air Intake and Magnaflow Magnapacks, with the custom tune it was very noticeable. Engine revs faster, pulls harder from low RPMs especially 2k on up, and really throws you back in the seat when going through the gears much more than stock. Also the free tunes for life is unbeatable. After you tune your car, or aren't running performance tests you can take the tuner out out of the OBD port. Like I said very noticeable gains with at least cold air intake and can be updated for almost any mod including cams, gears, headers, midpipe among other mods. BAMA is very helpful and answers any questions you may have. One thing to note for those of you who have aftermarket intakes that don't require tunes, you might run a check engine light after tuning your car for running to rich. After contacting BAMA i found out this is normal because Aftermarket Intakes that don't require a tune generally have an insert in them restricting airflow so you don't need to tune the engine, but once you tune it you might have to remove the insert as too not run a check engine light. Not a big deal but important to know so you don't freak out if it happens. Car will still run fine you just get two codes for your mustang running rich. Seriously though, buy this tuner, one of the best first mods you can do!! You will definitely notice the difference as soon you take it out. With traction control off the tires just want to spin through 1st gear when you get on it and it really throws you back in your seat. If you want some serious gains for a low price get the iTSX Tuner by SCT!! 5 Stars!!! Thanks American Muscle!!!

    Talk about Instant Gratification!

    I can not imagine this thing being easier to install..just plugged it into the computer on the left side of the dash .., found it on the Bluetooth for the iPad, and started programming. Easy on screen directions are pretty much idiot proof. Took it out on the street and I am Very Very impressed with the performance gains. I had recently added the K&N cold air, and combined with the tune it's a whole new car. I'm using the performance tune and not the racing tune so far. I still need to do more reading about what the tuner can do in addition to increasing power. The plug in module doesn't stick out too far, and for now I'm leaving it in while I read more. No problems wih unit staying paired with the iPad..I'm planning on using the iPhone with it too but so far only have the free app on the iPad.

    Tuned and Ready

    It would have been easier to download the tunes into my gt if I would've known the tunes from AM were already pre programed. No downloading from emails necessary as some had said. My galaxy s3 worked fine on blue tooth.

    expandable platform

    expandable platform it what you should remember while using this. Still somewhat new to market and updates and new features can easily be added. FIrst use was quick and easy. BAMA performance tune is rock solid, automatic tranny is docile, crisp and confident while cruising, which was lacking before. At wide open throttle the tranny is like a hammer! Puts you back in your seat, no lurching and becomes an asset when racing. During data transfers the bluetooth connection can be finicky

    Surprised me!

    I put this on my 2010 mustang get roush stage 1 and tuned it to race mode. It made a huge difference. I was really surprised that it made that big of a difference. The acceleration is way better and gets the adrenaline going! You also will get better mpg with it! Race mode I got about 2-3 mpg with it and with performance mode I'm getting 6-7 more mpg! It is well worth it! Also very easy to use! I recommended it to everyone.

    Wireless iTSX

    I looked at many tuners and decided to purchase this one because of the wireless capabilitys. I seen where others where worried about the Bluetooth going out. Mine has been great so far. Loved the gain it gave me. I have more than a few mods and would have been disappointed if I didn't feel a big diffrence. It really is like diving a diffrent car. I think the tune just made the most of the mods I already have. If you don't have any mods or just say a CAI I honestly don't know what it would do. You would probably see some diffrence but maybe not as noticeable as I have had. Great product highly recommend.

    Didn't go smooth initially, worked after multiple calls to Tech.

    Opened up this big box they sent, with one little piece of plastic that plugs in under my dash. The electronics they show in the picture do not come with it, you have to spend more money to use this set up. Read the instructions, would not link with my Android phone. Called Tech Support, after trying multiple things they tell me my phone is too old to use. So now I need a newer phone, or buy a Bluetooth compatible Tablet. Got a Tablet for $139, downloaded the TSX App. Plugged SCT unit into car and went smoothly, loaded up the 67 octane Tune. Like most people I felt a difference and the Check Engine light that my Cold Air Intake caused went away, throttle was smoother and felt more alive and crisp. Ran the tank down to 1/8 and filled up with 93 octane, loaded the 93 Tune. Holy cow, my GT spun the tires easily before. Now it is just crazy, and it gets up to over 100mph very quickly. Think I better put the 87 tune back on, before I end up in Jail!! Over all it does what it says, but I feel it's overpriced to pay that much for one Bluetooth Dongle that plugs into my OBDII port. I guess we're paying for the Wireless (coolness) factor.

    Huge difference

    If you're looking for an easy to use tuner, this is the one for you. I used an android phone and didn't have any problems pairing the device to the tuner. The best part is I can add any mod to my mustang, and I'll always be able to get a new tune to match it and get the best of of it.

    Things To Know Before You Load A Tune

    The tuner is awesome and the throttle response is so fast… tires just fry with the Race Tune. Things to know: Follow the “Customer Submitted Installation Guide” on this web page under the “Installation” tab. They are so good and will help a lot if you are loading tunes that are emailed from Bama. You do not have to plug the dongle into your computer to load the files. If you can access your email from your paired device, my case iPhone, then you can load the files straight to the phone app and then wirelessly send to the iTSX tuner. One small part missing on the step by step guide, during the install, you will be asked about changing options. Choose “default Options” because the options have already been chosen in the program that you’re loading. (I called Bama to confirm). Most importantly, If you currently have a cold air intake, it most likely has an “airflow restrictor” inside of it near the mass airflow sensor. I have the Spectre 4” Cold Air Intake that is polished aluminum and looks custom fabricated. It has a plastic cylinder inside of it near the mass airflow sensor. The plastic tube is about 3 inches long and funnels the air from the 4” diameter to about 3-1/2”. This is because the stock computer program is designed to increase feul as air is increased but it has limitations on the stock computer tune because it is tuned from the factory with the stock airbox. So the plastic restrictor is there to get the air amount right near the max so you get increased throttle response and more power. It works great just as is. However, even better with the Bama race tune. They take the plastic restrictor out and then do their tune. They move the max amount up and allow more air coming in so they add more gas too and the mixture so it is just right. If you leave the plastic restrictor in and load their tune, the car won’t run or idle. Mine was backfiring and stalling out. It’s because it was running rich since the new program was adding in more fuel, thinking more air is coming in, but the restrictor was still in and the mixture was wrong. Unfortunately Bama does not tell you to take out the restrictor even though they know you have to because you tell them in the 19 question form that you have a cold air intake. They knew exactly why mine was stalling out as soon as I called and said they have people call a lot about this problem. I suggested to them that they put a note in the email with the tune that states you must remove the air restrictor inside your cold air intake before you run your car with their custom tune. I was worried, at first, that they sent me the wrong tune. But after the call, I took out the restrictor and it runs awesome! You won’t be disappointed. Buy the SCT iTSX Wireless tuner! You got to put on a cold air intake first though or you’re not going to get the gains that you want. Hope this info helps you out.
