Increases power. Now you can add even more horsepower and torque to your S197 Mustang with a JBA off-road X pipe, for power you can feel throughout the RPM band. A JBA off-road X pipe will greatly improve your pony's exhaust flow increasing horsepower, torque, and throttle response.

Race Car Growl. This free flowing JBA Off-Road X-pipe for the 2005 to 2009 GT Mustang's not only increases power, but with its modern "X" crossover pipe design it also adds a crisp raspy, race car growl to the sound of your exhaust.

Quality Construction. The JBA off road X pipe is made to last using durable 2.5" stainless steel tubing. The tubing is mandrel-bent so there are no kinks to rob you of power.

Modular Design. JBA's modular design makes it possible to easily convert back to the stock factory manifolds (or shorty headers) without the need of purchasing a new X-pipe, just by installing the two included down pipes. This unique design also makes it easy to install this X-pipe on your Mustang with just basic hand tools.

Application. This shorty off-road mid-pipe is designed to fit the 2005-2010 GT Mustangs with JBA long tube headers only. Compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions. The JBA X pipe includes high-quality mounting hardware and installation instructions, no cutting or welding is required.

Def. not your tru-xpipe guys, they weld these pipes together and make a tiny cut out in the middle. And yes like the guy above me it does make it sound very raspy so it looks like im gonna have to buy resonators now! But If you want a better sound and quality then spend $100 more on the magnaflow tru x pipe. I should have but you live and you learn.

Definitely will add significant sound. Without any cats, plan to use resonators just past the x-pipe. Otherwise you will sound way to raspy.(like a tin can) This was very easy to install and fit was perfect! Only took about 45 min with the car on jack stands....would be even quicker if on a lift. Well worth the money.

Well, let's all be honest, AM is the BEST mustang site on the web! Any questions you have send them an email and get a response in like an hour! That's customer service!
