Description
Outstanding Performance Gains. While your Mustang Cobra or Mach 1’s factory exhaust manifold performs its job fairly well, its restrictive design can still be improved upon. This is where the JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers; Natural Finish come in. These shorty style headers utilize free-flowing 1-5/8 diameter plumbing and collectors featuring exclusive firecone design. These engineered elements work together to greatly improve exhaust gas velocity and optimize combustion cycles. The result is palpable gains in horsepower and torque and more responsive throttle.
Leveled Up Fierce Sound. Your ride gets a fierce new exhaust sound. Specifically, these shorty headers will transform your ride’s sound into a deep, aggressive rumble that’s sure to put a smile on your face. But as menacing as your new sound is, it’s virtually drone-free from inside the cabin, making sure all your driving adventures are stress-free.
Factory Catalytic Converters. These shorty headers will replace the factory exhaust manifold right in front of your catalytic converters. In doing so, these headers retain your cats’ function and thus maintain legal emission levels.
Brawny Stainless Build Quality. They are manufactured from high-quality 1-5/8-inch diameter 304 stainless steel tubes, offering maximum corrosion resistance and superior durability. Additionally, these stainless steel tubes are CNC mandrel bent creating a turbulence-free inner surface before getting expertly welded for added rigidity. Meanwhile, their 3/8-inch thick stainless steel flanges are similarly machined before getting welded to ensure a leak-free seal when installed. Finally, these header assemblies are treated with a specialty natural coating that provides outstanding corrosion and thermal protection.
ECU Re-Tuning Not Necessary. These shorty headers do not require you to re-tune your ECU to enjoy its gains in performance.
CARB-Certified with EO No. D-57-33. These shorty headers are CARB certified under CARB EO number: D-57-33, making them completely street legal in all 50 states.
