Improves Horsepower. The K&N "Fuel Injection Performance Kit" (FIPK for short) Air Intake kit completely replaces your stock 1999-2004 3.8L & 3.9L V6 Mustangs restrictive stock factory air box and paper filter with a high flow K&N filter assembly and intake tube for a noticeable increase in horsepower and acceleration while still providing excellent filtration.

Filters out harmful contaminants. The supplied K&N Filter successfully filter's out harmful contaminants with it's unique layered design. K&N Air Filters are made up of layers of specially treated cotton gauze that are sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens for durability. K&N uses a specially formulated grade of oil to treat the cotton gauze layers which causes a tackiness throughout the cotton’s microscopic strands creating a powerful filtering media that ensures engine protection.

Straight Forward Installation. 1999-2003 Mustang 3.8L & 3.9L V6 K&N FIPK Air Intake kit installs with commonly available basic hand tools, with no extra modifications are required for installation.

after about a month of trying to decide which intake to go with chose k&n and i no i made the best choice adds on a few horses and gives it a bit more of a growl especially if you have and dual exh.....if your undecided go with this product!!

A cold air intake is a easy way to get a decent amount of horsepower, but there is far too many to choose from. I used to have BBK and it was alright. After putting this on you can tell where your money goes. K&N is the best. Gave me more response and slightly more pull.

I have a 40th Aniv. Mustang V6, so naturally I wanted a V8 and figured this would help me on my way to getting close. It deff added a big increase of horsepower and my car sounds much deeper. The whistle of course is always a nice touch too. Only problem i have with it is that it makes the car really jumpy at times when you let off the gas and stay at an inbetween speed. But overall well worth it and a great part to choose. Thanks AM.
