Improves Handling Performance. Upgrade the suspension of your SN95/New Edge Mustang with Koni Sport Shocks and Struts for improved handling and performance. Koni's Sport Yellow series top-of-line performance shocks and struts are designed to be direct fit replacements for your factory units and are ideal for use with lowering springs and performance sway bars.

Adjustable. The adjustable option of the Koni Sport shocks and struts allows you to adjust compression and rebound with just a twist of a knob. Turn the knob clockwise and soften the dampening, counter clockwise stiffens the dampening.

    Good but not great

So I got these for my 97 cobra when my shocks were very bouncy. I was hoping there was gonna be a huge huge huge difference like i read from others and there defiantly a lot better (more firm better handling) but not as amazing as I thought. When it was shipped to me it came right on time thanks am but it came shipped one was just out of the packaging box which is strange. Also it might just be age of my car but fitment on some of it was not that great (pretty easy to fix just on the back ones it wouldn't fit in the bottom slot so had to hit it with rubber mallet not to hard). AND on my first ride i put all on soft to see what it felt like then stopped half way and adjusted to firm felt amazing but when i went to put the back left shock back to soft it was stuck and after trying to take it out and adjust it the metal piece snapped off so now my rears are stuck on firm. Now I can send them back to Koni and get them replaced but only two turns and it got stuck and broke kinda sucks... over all I give it a 3.7 but would defiantly recommend these to you guys because they do work great just hope you dont have a problem with shipping and adjusting issues.

    Tight Ride

After having the struts installed we adjusted them to firm ride to see what it was like. We could not bounce the car by hand! The struts would not give at all! So we switched to soft ride all the way to the opposite end. That to me was firm. I was ok with that because I did not want a spongey ride. I imagine these struts will last a long time.

    Huge improvement over stock!

Installed these on a 94 and 96 Cobra. They are a night and day difference over stock and many other aftermarket shocks and struts. These give you adjustability on the rebound making them go from a soft, but still better quality ride than stock, to a stiff aggressive ride meant for going around corners and better handling

    Tighten up your Mustang

The Koni adjustable shocks gave new life to my '97 Cobra. It now corners without roll. I also installed Ford Racing "B" springs to lower the gravity and stability. These were a great buy with excellent service, as usual, from American Muscle!

    Koni Adjustable S S

The Koni adjustable shocks and struts took a little elbow grease to install properly, at one point I thought we were going to break the strut mounting area because we were bending it with a crow bar to make them fit in. But after they were installed handling and performance went up dramatically. I'd recommend these for mustang owners looking to increase performance of there car.

    Very nice upgrade over OEM

I bought these dampers to pair along with HandR SS springs and it has made a world of difference! Stock sway bars are still in it but these and the springs make cornering feel very tight and controlled and body roll is almost gone. All testing has been hooning around on the streets but I would be very confident to put these through an autocross with no problems. Love the adjustability!

one of the best "Bang for Buck" products.

Ordered the koni yellows on Monday morning, received them Wednesday afternoon in Canada. Really fast shipping, but AM is always on point with their shipping. These Koni yellows are probably the best suspension upgrade for the cost. You can adjust on the fly. Stiffest setting feels like your on coils with the right springs. Not too good for the street though so I would recommend a softer setting for street use. The handling improvement is derastic with these shocks and struts. Your Mustang will never be an M3, but you'll definitely feel a lot more confident throwing your pony into the corners. Recommend this product 100 to anyone looking to upgrade their pony's suspension. Thank you AM for great service and FAST shipping outside the U.S.

    Rides like stock

The shocks and struts were so shot in my car when I took them out I could love them with my hand no problem. With the new koni struts and shocks it feels like it's stock but with the adjustability it tightens it all up and handles like a car should. I paired that with the handr race springs and although it didn't lower it as much as I wanted it to it still made the car handle much better.

Huge difference over the kyb gr-2 struts I had. Stiffer than the illumina shocks that I had. The koni shock and strut combo for this price is unbeatable. The Konis are way stiffer than the others I haven't bothered adjusting them, on the softest setting they are plenty stiff enough for daily street driving and then you can adjust them for autocross. Can be beat for the money

    Well worth it

I installed these on a 1998 GT. Also installed with H&R Sport Springs and MM Caster-Camber plates. Across the board a noticeable difference from my aging stock shocks/struts/springs. Handling is drastically improved and now extremely agile. I have a little more than a week of installed time and am adjusting 1/2 turn per week towards the firmest setting. The adjustable feature will be extremely handy as this is a daily driver with some occasional stints on hot laps and 1/4 mile allowing me to accommodate across these conditions.

    Great buy

Purchased this kit along with the H&R Super Sport lowering springs, MM camber caster plates and Steeda bump stop kit. The suspension is otherwise stock, feels like a completely new car. The handling is much sharper without the hint of body roll found in the stock setup. Routinely able to double recommended speed in corners on road. Easy to adjust, would recommend keeping settings near soft for street application. Great way to have a premium suspension at a reasonable cost.

    great product

Installs fast. You can install these in your driveway. Little stiff for street riding. But good for corners and track. . Nice thing about these is , as they begin to age and wear out you can adjust for the ride quality that you want. I cut a 1in hole in the rear trunk side panels right above the shocks so I can make adjustments quickly without removing the side panel every time. Only CON: so far. Is the rear dust cover is not great. I does not stay up on the shock were it is supposed to when driving. I just put a zip tie on the top of the cover were it connects to the shock and so far that is working.

    Great entry level race application

I have a 2003 Mach 1 for which I purchased HandR race Springs about a year ago. It's it's perfectly now for my taste. Only problem was I kept the factory Tokico shocks and struts and had trouble bottoming out a lot. Last weekend I got my koni adjustables on and went for a test drive with them in the stiffest position and had planned on backing them down from there. Only I didn't! I will probably soften up the back just a tad for better traction but other than that they are perfect! To me it doesn't make sense to run the same setting up front as in back due to weight distribution. In a nutshell, these are the firmest you would want on the street but still offer a softer setting should the need arise. On the stiffest setting, I think they would be better paired with the HandR super race spring as it has a higher spring rate but if you plan on running just a race spring or Super Sport they'll be perfect on the medium setting.
