Description
Perfect Alignment. Whether you spend your time on the track or the street, you need a good alignment. The adjustability these caster/camber plates offer will make lining things up easy and worry-free.

Double Adjustable. The Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates let you adjust camber without changing caster. That means you (or your shop) can adjust the variables that control how fast your tires wear, and improve your stability while cornering.

Ideal for Lowered 'Stangs. If you have lowered your Mustang, you may not be able to get your suspension back to normal, resulting in accelerated tire wear or less-than-ideal handling. Get the adjustability you need to fix it with a set of Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates.

No Drill Installation. These Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates are a direct bolt on with no drilling or cutting required for the 2005-2010 GT and 2007-2014 GT500 Mustangs.

Premium Quality. The Caster Camber Plates are plated and powder coated for great looks and long life and feature Teflon® lined spherical bearings.

Technical Note. Not compatible with Eibach Multi-Pro R1 or R2 Coil Over Kits.

Will these Caster Camber Plates fit with an SR Performance Strut tower brace? The SR Performance Strut tower brace has four holes on each side, this caster Camber Plate seems to have five bolts each... Will it work together, can't tell from the customer pics. Thanks.

Answer This Question

Can these be used with new strut mounts? I'm looking at installing the Eibach Pro suspension up grade and also adding the Ford racing GT500 strut mounts, is there still a need for adding these too?

  • If you want more than -.7 camber... you need either plates or bolts. Plates are the better approach. If you go plates, and use the GT500 strut mount.. make sure to buy the GT500 version of Maximum Motorsports camber plate. The stock version will not work with the GT500 mounts.

Answer This Question

Compatible with Steeda HD Upper Strut Mounts? My GT is lowered on Steeda Sport springs with their HD upper strut mounts (no popping noise and extra camber). Since I've installed aftermarket control arms, my caster is just barely out of spec. Can I use these plates with the Steeda strut mounts? How much thickness do they add to the strut assembly (i.e. how much is the front of my car going to be raised)

    Standing Straight

I have a 2009 Mustang with Ford Racing suspension upgrade kit. After the suspension upgrade was installed, the closest we could get the camber to zero was -1.5. After installing the Maximum Motorsports plates, the camber is now corrected to -0.1. Also, the new strut bearings are much more precise than the factory units; steering is noticeably crisper.

I recommend these C/C plates. You will not be disappointed. Worth the $$. This is one aftermarket product that works. Lowerd Mustang? Then you need these. Period.

    Great product

I got these CC plates as part of a proper lowering setup with spring and shocks/struts all in one install. In hopes of aligning everything enough prior to a professional alignment, we measured each side at the strut's top nut and used an angle iron at the floor and wheel. It was very easy to adjust and when I went for alignment, it was actually dead on. They didn't touch it. Also, the logo on the plate that you can see under the hood is a nice touch to show your high-quality parts choice. It came with high-quality mounting nuts, too. If you lower...these are a must.

    No bueno

I have had these on my lowered mustang for about a year now... they have been making an awful sound for months now, especially on passenger side. It's a popping sound every time a hit the slightest bump in the road. Might try steeda C/C plates or the J&M. I have eibach pro kit, sway bars, shocks and struts, steeda strut tower brace, bmr k-member brace, and bmr control arms.

    S197 Alignment

My alignment shop said the MM plates made it easy to align my lowered Stang. Quality was good and shipping was fast and easy to track. Good job all around by MM and American Muscle!

Make this a part of suspension upgrade. Allows greater adjustability then stock setup and makes alignment easier.

    Must have for proper alignment

Took me about 2 hours to install from opening box to putting the car back on the ground. I had the alignment guys put me with maximum in-spec camber (-1.5deg) and the car handled beautifully at AutoX. There are two alternatives to adjust your camber which are not recommended at all - slotting the strut/knuckle bolt holes or using camber bolts. Neither of these are a good idea and can lead to unsafe shifts in geometry if you attempt to race with them.
