I have had 18 Mustangs, ranging from a stock ’66 coupe to a low 9-second Fun Ford Weekend Street Renegade ’96 GT that made 888 RWHP. (308 cid motor, Edelbrock heads, intake and topped off with a Paxton Novi 2000R supercharger pushing 30 psi of boost). My best pass in that was 9.32 @ 142 mph. My first car was a ’79 Camaro, but I got tired of that pretty fast and jumped head first into the Mustang scene with an ’86 GT that I drove every day. Traded that for an ’87 GT, then a ’90 GT and that’s when I started tuning. That opened my eyes to a whole new world of performance, and I’ve been tuning ever since.
Technically, this is my wife’s Mustang. I surprised her with it for her birthday because she had wanted another Mustang for years. She doesn’t want to be the Mom in the mini-van – she wants to be the Mom in a hot car. Didn’t take much to convince me! Our new ’06 GT will be more of an all-around street car / daily driver that we’ll both race and take to a few shows. Right now, I’m seeing it all silver with gunmetal accents.
I'm pretty certain this is the best shopping experience I've ever had. I found what I wanted on AmericanMuscle.com, then did some price shopping and ended up coming back and order from them because they had the lowest price AND free shipping too. I honestly look forward to spending more money with American Muscle. They have customer submitted photos in addition to their great product photography as well as installation guides from users and manufacturers. Their videos are honest and incredibly useful. I can't think of anything else I'd like to see from them. Ryan B
